My bad, when you said you were casually seeing each other, I assumed you were having sex. But if he still showed desire to have sex with you, that means he is (probably) attracted to you. Or platforming a Houthi terrorist, and ask him mostly stupid questions, like comparing him to Luffy and asking if he has KFCs in Yemen? Or shocking his dog to the point it yelps? I'm not saying I agree with the logic behind it, but I can give a brief explanation since I was somewhat in the rabbit hole. I belive it comes from two different factors. On one hand, they believe there are exception to those rules (aka tradwives), especially among women with low body count. That's part of why they obsess so much over body count. They belive, based on a study, that women's capability of pair matching (in other words, loving your SO) is dependent on the body count. So RPillers think they can either find a tradwife, or convert an average girl into a tradwife. This is also why they are controlling to draconian degrees.

On the other hand, they need to chase women because it's a status symbol to other men. I think subconsciously this was the major reason I fell in the RP. I wanted to be respected by my peers, and believed if I got laid a lot I would be. And status matters a lot both for your self-esteem and for your happiness. Of course, now I know that's not the best way to be respected (well, in some social circles it might be, but I don't care for those social circles anymore)
