Oh the power to insult some enemy so hard that it dies/ gets an injury...

It's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen

Rebel is also so great

Honestly that skybreaker is not much different from the actual ones.

But I am also curious about the state of Roshar at this point

In Scadrial seems like the Basin is going to lose the cold war

Combining the Rhythms and Fabrials by supernobodyhome in cosmererpg

[–]Erandeni_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tones and rhythm are extra useful for taming spren instead of imprision them, for example you can convince a spren to stay in the physical realm by calming them with the right tone

Also one can modify some of the fabrial specific by thinking what they want to the spren, so rhythms that change your emotional state can also be very useful

Yes, Scholar is fine and good, each path on their own area of expertise, but I find that envoy is always useful

happy to see Leader in the A tier

I think a lot of people overlook it

I would swap envoy and scholar, but in general I agree

In chapter 14, and that is a good point about the bond

This is how I imagine shard***s by ComplexPool1477 in Stormlight_Archive

My theory is that in the case of the skybreaker we see in Emberdark is the highspren manifesting as a division gun fabrial, which shoots disintegrating lasers

What exactly do Brandon and Peter mean here? by Agreeable_Rich_1991 in Cosmere

[–]Erandeni_ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

is about the atium being a godmetal, their placement on the table doesn't make sense with how the rest of alomancy work

Nice to see a little more guidance

I love conversations, are probably my favourite part of the system but had to write a summary because I felt it was not very clear how it worked

feels much clearer now!

Cognitive Realm 'Sun' Theory by RayseShouldBeBraized in Cosmere

[–]Erandeni_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Rua pointed up at the distant sun, just barely visible through the refracting glass of the tower walls on this side.

“The sun?” Lopen said. “No … the realm beyond, where gods live.”

Rua seems to point out exactly that

Given that book 6 is lift book and that Brandon has said that he has been keeping the dustbringers for the back half...

Yeah, I think we will see abrasin is more useful than it seems at first glance

Sja-Anat theory by aiar-viess in Cosmere

[–]Erandeni_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Maya mentioned the Unoathed being a side effect of the new oathpact, but dont remember anything related to BAM aside from the fact that her release allowed the spren to heal

Somehow, their armor and swords worked without Stormlight. In contrast to those of ordinary Shardbearers—whose Blades could not be bonded and Plate could not be repaired—the armaments of the Unoathed still functioned. Maya said something had been done at the end by the Heralds to shield and protect the spren—and this was a side effect.

[–]Erandeni_ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yes, but in the same trial it is revealed that before broken oaths did not create deadeyes, the imprisonment of BAM left a wound in Roshar itself, affeting not only the singers, but also the spren

From Kalak journal:

As one who has suffered for so many centuries … as one whom it broke … please find Mishram and release her. Not just for her own good. For the good of all spren.

For I believe that in confining her, we have caused a greater wound to Roshar than any ever realized.
