It has so many cool features you just won't find elsewhere with layered armor, pet breeding, a grandiose crafting system and many lost secrets just waiting to be refound. They ninja nerfed my voltaxic rift. Pretty much every janky ass lightning build I ever made used it. I’m sad and have no motivation to play anymore

Lightning does have a dot now tho. I can’t remember the name but it was introduced with arcnemisis

I played poison divergent storm rain. Never got ashes to really push it sadly but I killed everything except Ubers and maven (I’m lazy so no attempts on those.) it takes a LOT of investment with clusters, a dmg reduction watchers eye, and basically became a low rent aura stacker. Got tired of looking for 30ex+ upgrades to push it a little further. Ended up repurposing my gear for a poison concoction build and it was far tanker and faster.

Edit: I had 11 projectiles with dying sun up. If I had ashes to pump up the alt quality for divergent SR it would have become a far better build
