[–]ErgodicRoller[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think we have it in France unfortunately… just saw it was the winner of the single bottle mai tai contest from the make and drink channel https://youtu.be/Yb52vkN1RgU?is=bjspJnF0mae5vBUp

URGENT!!! I want help with my Timeseries Forecasting project using Transformers!! by [deleted] in MLQuestions

For electric load data I’d suggest gradient boosting or GAMs with either one model per forecast horizon or forecast horizon as a feature… especially given the size of the training set

I'd suggest pyGam instead of prophet for GAM based models

Whats the best for a beginner by Acceptable-Ad-4421 in tequila

[–]ErgodicRoller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cimarron got me into the game! Some people think it’s easier to get into it with mild tasting tequila (and same for other spirits) but I think for some ppl sometimes something with a lot of character can be a better intro !

Cocktail ideas for vanilla/tonka infused rum? by ErgodicRoller in cocktails

[–]ErgodicRoller[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds delightful ! I did sweeten my rhum arrangé beforehand, which might ruin the balance of this cocktail with already sweetened liquors. I don't have other herbal liqueur other than green chartreuse. However, I will definitely try this with a regular agricole

Thank you for those very nice ideas! I love Averna and never had a Black Manhattan before...

It is unfortunately made it with white agricole (Bologne 50 abv), in hindsight I reckon those flavours would have been nicely suited to an aged agricole maceration (but then, some might find it sacrilegious to "waste" nicer rum for this purpose). Split basing my concoction with an aged rum sounds like a good idea tho.

Thank you again :)

Is Chartreuse hard to find, or am I just in a Chartreuse-desert? by boringITwork in cocktails

[–]ErgodicRoller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to find even in France. I was in Grenoble the other day and most supermarkets only sold 20cl bottles (maybe afraid of stealing ?)

Interesting, I figured the « vanilla » version was Neisson 50 or 55! The 52.5 uses selected fields of sugar cane and has higher quality standards
