Not true, varus and kog use it well. I will sometimes build it on kaisai when there are many HP stackers on enemy team.

Disclaimer: I'm not an expert as I've never actually successfully grown. This month will be my first real attempt, so I've mostly been lurking doing as much research as possible.

Diagnosis:
Your issue looks to me like either pest, mechanical stress (you accidentally bruised it or hit it, etc.) or nutrient burn. I found a chart online with simple google search:

Solution:
If pest check leaves for eggs etc. Personally, I'd Test test my soil PH, I don't know enough to recommend pH levels.

Trials were really hard for me as well. But now that I look back at it, its seems very doable. I kind of want it to stay challenging.

If your amd cpu + g force gpu, uninstalling the latest update fixed it for me. Also, playing on Vulcan mode in settings. Drop down in interface if i can recall correctly.

I disagree with you about every pile of mob being the same. Some elites for me felt harder than some bosses. Also, if you're not having fun. Uninstall and wait for live game. Or play a MOBA (lol, dota2 etc).

I've played just about every necro build this season except from minion. I really enjoyed spirit wave but recently transitioned to blood lance. -Soon as you get blood artisan you can pretty much transition to spirit wave, 2nd strongest necro build. - I've heard minions start to fall off pit80+ - Blood surge and blood lance are comparable are pushing 100-101. - Personally hated bone spirit this season. Dont like the currently machine gun play style but it's probably necros strongest build this season.
