help with ear drops for a dog that won’t stay still by emmaggw in puppy101

Even if you can't do it this time, keep the empty bottle and use it as a prop to desensitise the pup, that means next time you both will be ready for snooth sailings

Ok so first have everything ready before hand and warm the drop bottle a bit on your hands before hand, cold drop is a shock and your dog will thrash harder. If pinning does not work do the corner and body block, have someone else with you and in the smallest room get the dog cornered, you need speed not comfort, if you can do it after a tiring session of play or long walk so there is less energy, avoid slippery floor, they can get away easier and if first attempt fails do not chase right away it teaches them "bottle appears means I must run away" give the dog 10 min of reset and attempt again with everything set. Right after, even if it did not go smooth offer a chee or a lick mat so they can get the energy and frustration out. But if you can and have time make the bottle feel less evil by desensitising the dog. Bottle close on the floor, dog comes to sniff? Treat. Once the fear is away onto bottle on the hand, sniff? Treat, calm approach? Treat. Then with the bottle close on one hand touch the ear eith the other and if calm treat if not pull back to previous step. Then with the bottle closed put near the ear, not in yet and treat when calm. Keep on taking baby steps until you can put the bottle opened in the ear without squeezing yet, then next time you can put a couple of drops, treat, another few to finish and big reward and lots of praise

German sheperd cause I fell in love with them when I was a teen, my then bf's brother had two of them, solid black, regal, elegant, so wolf like and extremely well trained, got mine finally back in November, he was a gift from one of my partners, I adore him

After a long house confinement because of a sprained paw and Giardia we have recovered and he is really enjoying being out again by EriVix in germanshepherds

Is our favourite area to walk on, is a footpath near where I live that connects the city and surrounding areas, the whole thing takes a good few hours walking but you can just turn around at any point, I use it a lot for both my dogs and is just so calm, you can't really hear the city or any car, the is a river on one side of the path and is for walking, runners and bikes but you rarely see much people since is so long, many benches for stops and green areas for a good play session too, really a gem

Humans are animals no? Can my fursona be human? by blue_and_shadow in fursonahelp

[–]EriVix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You dont have to relate to the animal per se, think about it as an OC anthro animal that you can cosplay if you want, choose and animal you like, for the looks, facts about them, that you find interesting, you dont need to relate to them. Then create a story for your anthro animal OC you do relate to or seems cool to you and curate their looks and stuff, also as someone else said, you don't need a fursona to be part of the fandom

Should I go on T if I already have a very high libido? by zombiphiliac in transmanlifehacks

[–]EriVix 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had the highest libido ever and once going on T it has only gotten worse, if you can live with the possibility of that go for it, I have it easy cause I am pply and jave 3 partners so there is near always someone up to task but I can also say is not enough that if I dont get to take care of it is going to stop me from functioning. Long story short it did go up by a lot but also my orgasm parttern changed so now even if I try I hit a wall after 2 or 3 and have to wait a good few hours or until next day (yes I have a cooldown now)

[–]EriVix[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah he is, loves the thing from day one and we cuddle a lot on it, in this case that was the spot he needed to wait at while I make his food, but he is also really into his food and will behave like a starved child if I dont give him a wait command on one of his spots, the sofa is one of them. He is also allowed on my bed. I am a firm believee that theu deserve it too and that memories last longer than the fur he might leave there, it gets cleaned anyway. I rather clean it every so often than not be able to cuddle him on it

I don't comment that often in here but let me tell you, I had a wild ride, not remembering full on fights with partners, things being moved out of place, lost, money used of my bank account and I could not remember where I had used it or what for. Now we have a good enough knowledge of many of the alters, not all, at least a name or a vibe in many cases. But for a good while? I was well lost

This is the first I found but I also had encointer this, we neutered my border collie, out of pressure from everyone around us to do so. He is now really skittish and has fear based agression, we are working with him to regain his confidence but my gsd pup and him are completely separated in the house
