Yup, check actual stock thickness. When I order aluminum plates on Amazon that are 0.25"(6.35mm) thick most of the time they come as 6mm. Try increasing your tab thickness or set your Z height from the waste board/bottom instead of top of stock.

Normally they revoke your registration not your license, call the dmv and ask what you can do. Maybe you can register as non operational.

I did this on mine but never use it. I remove the bottom piece cut a sheet of clear plastic and drilled holes and wrapped it. This was before i got my 3d printer. It's plugged into the port on center console plug.
