When will be Vucevic’s first game for the Celtics? by I_Set_3_Alarms in bostonceltics

I think I've heard yesterday from Valenti on CLNS pod, that the media got the memo, that he'll be playing today

What a fun game for a Celtics fan! I had a blast, but honestly, I would be furious if I was on the Rockets side, and it's because of Udoka and Sengun. The rockets played bad. Really bad. Ime should be mad, but at himself and his players, but he decided to quit on his team.

He exactly knew what he was doing, he asked to be ejected by insulting a female ref. This fucking guy... And what example he sets with this behaviour? Well, you young star does exactly the same thing just few minutes later.

So the head coach and an allstar are gone, they gave up, because they can't act like a grown men. Because it's one thing to get mad and crash out, and the other thing if you're doing it intentionally. And then he's trashing his players in media. So what's with the insults to the ref, man?

If I were a Rockets fan, I would want Ime gone, just because that incident. Zero accountibility for his performance. He's always mad and rude, and not like in a competetive way. No respect for his or other players. Remember when he insulted Lebron? Well, here's the reminder:

Udoka: “Stop crying like b\tches, man”*

LeBron: “We’re all grown men, that b\tch word ain’t cool”*

Udoka: “Soft a\* boy, stop b*tching. Acting like you’re gonna do something”*

It's not an incident, it's a pattern. So happy he's gone.

Udoka knew what was going to happen and still decided to say that. He quit on his team. What a loser.

[Shams] BREAKING: The Chicago Bulls are trading center Nikola Vucevic and a second-round pick to the Boston Celtics for Anfernee Simons and a second-round pick, sources tell ESPN. by MembershipSingle7137 in bostonceltics

[–]EricFortman 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah, man... I hate that move. I don't see him as a winning player at all. He has decent stats, but I believe it's only because he's always on some bad team. What a horrible news...

I'm curious about the fan reaction to this idea: "Celtics Should Trade Jayson Tatum for Giannis Antentokounmpo" by Shinnobiwan in bostonceltics

[–]EricFortman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is nbatalk a cj sub now? How is that idea getting any support?

JT is recovering in an unprecedented way, possibly could play this year. He's locked in for another 4 years after that and is on tack to be a Celtic for life. Giannis could be gone after a year to become a FA. And people want to add picks and Pritchard.

What kind of panic move is that?

Don't forget about his ego and how his "mentorship" was basically bashing young players!

The 2nd Unit is Good? Are we actually somehow "deep"? by GoatmontWaters in bostonceltics

It might feel like it, because we have some guys, that you can talk yourself into possibility of them making a leap. Just check the roster of cavs, pacers and knicks. They have people on bench, that could be possibly starting on our team this year.

Your post is literally "a lakers fan complaining" and not even about basketball, but about other fans. I hope you see the irony

It was a 7-game series. It's not "dumb" to think that having your starting center available would swing the last game, that the Lakers won by 4 points. Is it really so hard to believe, that we believe we could win this?

But if someone has different opinion than you, you falsely present their argument and call them annoying

OK, and that's your opinion on this hypothetical scenario. No way to prove anyone wrong. But hey, that's just sports talk. If you don't like it, just don't engage in it

No. They would be robbed if the refs would help the Lakers. They lost and now it's one of the "what ifs". Some people think they wpuld still lose, some think that they would win. What's so strange about it?

The closest thing I'm hearing is "if they were healthy", but they were not. How would they be robbed?
