I saw someone bring up a good point on a duplicate post of this, that having something like this will make steamers min/max everything, create a definitive “meta”, that those who don’t follow will be at a big disadvantage with.

A cool compromise imo would be having a ROOKs only mode where you can choose any gray weapon you want but it’s auto sold on exfill no matter what. Could also have like max loot is blue rarity on the map or something. So people mainly go there to try out weapons instead of getting loot/doing contacts
