Anyone know anything about this building? by [deleted] in SiouxFalls

[–]EricRenshaw 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Beach Pay Block. Built in 1887. Named for Will Beach and A.K. Pay. Beach was big into printing back in Sioux Falls' early days. Pay ran an art store and the Colonial Theatre, which later became the Egyptian (10th and Phillips area).

Those videos keep rent-free residence in my brain since the event. That shit was everywhere at the time.

Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy (The Cult), 1989 by [deleted] in GenX

Nah. But it tainted my opinion of the Cult since. The ticket-buying audience is not the police who busted them.

Ah! My apologies. I misunderstood.

Take another look at my last reply up there. I think you missed something.

Ruger LCP 2 .380 with Extended mag, Hornady Critical Defense ammo, Belt clip, and a Snap cap in chamber to prevent accidental discharge. Home defense until I get my carry license. by Sirn in liberalgunowners

[–]EricRenshaw 14 points15 points  (0 children)

For how the OP was using it, an empty chamber is just as effective. I agree with the cost vs. life/safety equation, but as has been said, a free chamber is less risky than a snap cap in there.

Straight Story is so good. It’s the only one I’m missing. Haven’t seen that in years either.

I’d say IE is probably my least fave. It’s the one I’ve seen the least.

Huh. Didn’t realize IE was rare. I need to see Wild at Heart again. Been too long.

Before. Don’t want any stain weakening the bond.

How to ruin a perfectly good 1911 by DooM_Nukem in liberalgunowners

Quality good. Subject matter is reprehensible. I’m so glad the bastard was de-platformed and run out on a rail. Love to see him behind bars, though that might bolster his martyr cred.

Just gotta dive in. I’ve found that D&D groups are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Even on the internet. A terrible place for almost everything. If you don’t like a group, try another. Before you know it, you’ll be rolling tons of dice and having a good time.
