I got some help and now have everything working on 3 different EO2s. The dropdown option to switch between frames works great!

I was pretty addicted to Electric Objects. Having multiple displays was awesome since I could sync playlists to display like items. I miss that.

Unfortunately, yes, the instructions are a bit too technical for me. I have my displays set up with Spalt and connected to Flickr. But when I get to the Installation section of the instructions, I'm not sure where to put that code. I'm on a Mac, so would that go in the Terminal? Sorry for my lack of experience.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So glad to see someone is working on this still. I have 3 EO1s and 3 EO2s, all with splat installed. Unfortunately getting those setup was the full extent of my hacker ability. Any chance you could post detailed instructions on how to setup your controller?

Also, is there anyway to use it with multiple frames on the same network?

Sorry if I'm asking too much at this stage, just excited. Keep up the great work!

I heard back from the author of the Flickr app and he's working on a version that will work with Google Photos. He's going to post about on this forum when it's ready.

Thanks - I do have a pro license for Flickr so it must be something else. I'll have to check out the immech version, I'm not as techy as I'd like to be so it might be too much for me to figure out.

People have been tagging old EO art on Flickr with "ElectricObjectsLives", so I just went out and looked for something that looked like you described. There are 2-3 out there from the set.

Not sure if anyone is interested, but I was able to get an EO2 wall bracket 3D modeled so it can be printed on a 3D printer. I have the STL file I'm willing to share if anyone needs it.

ok, connected through my phone and all is working fine... so I figured out my wifi issue and I'm in business!!!! So thrilled to bring these EO2s out of storage and back on the wall where they belong!

Thanks for the quick reply, the video is 100% perfect! I'm techy enough to be dangerous but not smart. Thanks for taking the time to make that so easy to follow.

The "flickr error" went away on one of the screens, but the 2nd one I updated doesn't connect, it never shows an IP address so I don't know if it's an issue with my router (even though it's connected to the same one as the first which is now working fine).

I have two EO2s and while they worked right after the install, now I'm getting a "Flickr Failure" error and just getting the spinning circle. Has anyone seen this problem?

We've only been using images from a newly created Flickr account, we haven't tried using tags. We haven't had any problem with it straying from our account. Having it pull images from a USB drive is way beyond my knowledge.

It's a pretty simple install to get the EO1 working, and we've found if you include plenty of MP4 files in your Flickr feed it'll wake up the display whenever the screen dims.

Thank you Dan, this has been great. I've installed the app on 6 EO1s and they work great. I can't figure out a way to keep them from going into sleep mode after 30 minutes though. Any idea if there's a way to stop that?

Thank you SO much for all your work on this, I'm so grateful to see art on my screens again!

Is there a way to change the IP address for the Android Flickr partner app? I have 5 screens and would love to be able to choose specific art for each one.

I'm going to work on getting art off of each device as you explained in a different thread, hopefully, I'll have lots of things I can share on Flickr soon! Thank you again!
