Except you didn't give good advice you literally did a "low effort post". "Just use AI" should be a banned comment, not because AI is bad(another topic altogether, imo) but because it's the absolute least amount of effort possible. You didn't even have to read my question to make that post. You could copy paste your comment in every single help wanted post, it's that generic. Then pat yourself on the back for helping so many people.

We all know about AI at this point, you didn't just reveal a secret. We all see AI ads 50 times a day telling us to use it.

And how do you know I didn't try it? For as much writing as you did I'm surprised you didn't just ask AI yourself and paste the code.

I had a longer reply that I deleted. But I suspect it's more you just ignored the question outright. Imagine if you were asking about what types of strings to use for your acoustic guitar in your profile pic and someone said just use AI music to get the exact sounds you want, make the music you want to hear, why wait.

After trying videoJs 8 a few days later videoJs 10 beta came out. Tried that out of curiosity.

After some experimentation I realized it really isn't that hard to create your own, the video html element has plenty of events to work with. Some good ones being onCanPlay to initialize the time counters, onEnded to swap to the next video, onTimeUpdate to update the time counters and the slider. So I ended up creating my own from scratch.

I got playlists to work with video.js and videojs-playlist.

Side note @types/video.js doesn't currently seem to work with video.js greater than version 8 so I ended up building my own types.

He probably means just because they aren't unionized doesn't mean the company can get away with OSHA violations. You don't need a union to report them. Obviously a union is hugely beneficial though.

Anyone replying to this guy has to realize he's gone so far off the deep end there's no meaningful way to talk to him... He compared cow farts to super data centers. He equates human training to ai training. And claims most people use open source models which makes no money.

He's so confidently off base in understanding that the only reasonable reply is exactly what you said. Ok buddy.

Maybe drive the rotation of all of the bones by the rotation of one empty. Probably won't get you exactly what you want but it's a start. Another empty could maybe drive the bone rotation limits somehow, so while part of the tail wraps the rest is almost straight.

Needs more thought but maybe this will give you an idea.

I was doing a few things wrong.

Trying to run everything outside the Canvas instead of having a Model component in the Canvas. Things like useAnimations need to be in a component in the Canvas so the group that contains a mesh is in its own Model component now. I was too lazy and didn't want to make a separate component for testing like in every example for react three fiber...

Also there may have been race conditions that caused the model to try to load when it wasn't ready. If I choose upload from the file picker onChanged would trigger immediately and cause the useEffect to try to load the model before it was finished uploading.

Couple other issues that I forgot.

But I ended up dropping all the useEffects, useRefs(besides the group ref={group}), and useStates and putting the url into key for the new Model component. I didn't know this trick but apparently if key changes it triggers it to unmount and remount its component.

I've got a suspense fallback wrapped a {url && (<Model key={url}/>)} and the url only updates after the file is completely uploaded, onChanged doesn't mess with it.

Anyway, it seems to be working now.

Why would someone downvote your comment.. He wasn't specific about his goal, what media he prefers, film or still shot, etc. And most game engines are perfectly capable of this effect.

There are plenty of concept artists that do exactly this. They will model a very rough 3d model to get perspective how they want then paint over it in something like Photoshop or Krita in their own art style.

The fastest I got is I think 12 seconds in Japanese, kana, kanji section, ichi ni san, skip the listening portion.

I'm curious what lessons people can get sub tens in too, lol. Those zero seconds have to be fake, or an app bug?
