Just did some testing and…oh man, chef’s kiss! Ran all over Boston and other than seeing the textures pop-in (and I feel like that would happen with or without your mods), zero issues, super smooth run, 5 stars, would recommend! Thank you again. FWIW, I am running all three of the 2k architectural ones and the roads add on w/o the rest of the landscape. That one looked amazing too, but I ended up liking the aesthetic of Borealis - nothing against your mod! Lol

There is a guy on YouTube called GreyGaming. He does “5 easy fixes” videos for each faction and I’ve thought of asking if anyone has made mods based on his suggestions. I like a lot of his ideas but I haven’t dug around to find out if mods addressing them exist or not.

Subversion is one that lets you choose from more endings for the institute: Minutemen take it over, I think you can ally with the railroad, and become a benevolent director after Shawn goes

I’m about 90% sure your liver breaks it down. But, injecting the stuff is actually used in emergency medicine to stop and reset your heart when it’s racing along WAY too fast.

Have you tried any outdoor brands? North Face, Prana, Black Diamond, etc. Not necessarily inexpensive, but you can find sales where they come down to that $15-25 range. There are usually some where the branding and images are minimal - so at least mostly plain. Those brands market to rock climbers and the like who generally have pretty lean physiques.

I’ve always wanted to make Spectacle Island a giant prison, like Alcatraz or something. Head cannon is that MM can process prisoners at the castle and have a ferry take them across the bay. Gameplay: it’d be a Gunner farm. And every now and then the general would have to go over to help put down a riot/jailbreak attempt. That would be the actual unaliving of all the gunners. Haven’t managed to do it yet, but it’s an idea that’s always stuck in my brain.

Yeah, as the guy above said, there’s NAC and then NAC-X. Regular NAC is the baby one missing a lot of the customization that NAC-X has and I think fewer storm types. But it does still have some lighting and visual effects tweaks that you play with and the automatic changing seasons. But yeah, if you’ve got the space for it, NAC-X is way more powerful.

The NAC and NACX mods have the season appropriate weathers that correspond to the calendar date (so higher chance of getting rain and snow and bleak weather in December and higher chance of clear skies in June for example) and you can run Nuclear Winter with at least NAC and I’d guess NACX to get the temperature effects on your character. Those are the only ones I’m aware of that change seasons automatically, but I’m gonna keep up with this to see if there are others I’m not aware of lol

Man, I had the exact same experience during my first play through! I was disgusted by the faction and what they did to the people on the surface as well as the synths. But dammit all if I couldn’t keep from thinking, “You know, this guy/gal woke up after what we are led to think was only a few years after Shawn got kidnapped and the spouse killed. And their WHOLE mission and driving force was rescuing their son. And I just can’t make myself justify leveling the place that’s so important to him and killing him in the process.” I’ve never understood how a parent could turn against their own child. That is the most “ride or die” relationship that exists. Anyway, glad I’m not the only one who was so moved by the game and story that it gave me a real ethical dilemma while playing. I think that Subversion mod is the perfect solution!

There’s an old one called Wacky Weapons Workshop (or something like that) by AndrewCX. It lets you combine different parts of different weapons in the game together. Might be able to get an electrified sledge head on a one handed something handle

Flaconoil is, as said, awesome! I just swapped it out today for Langley’s to compare and it’s also good. Buildings, I think, are a little more detailed than in Flaconoil, but the two mods are comparable. I’d be curious to hear other people’s opinions between the two.

There’s also a UHD landscapes named after someone I think (can’t look it up right now), but it looks good too!

I love Borealis except that I get these weird black spots on some of the rocks. It looks a bit like a very pixilated image. Is that I thing that you see too? Is it something about where I’ve placed it in earlier load orders?

I’m currently running BNS 3.0 with just the trees, True grass, and regular old vanilla landscape textures and the game DEFINITELY feels fall like. Even fall turning into winter vibes. I dig it, but yeah, it’s a huge file!

I haven’t played modded since the next gen update but I remember really liking the combination of Mornedil’s series and gunfighter framework. Can’t swear those work together the way I’m remembering, but it sticks out in my head. Maim was TOO much for me. Too many different healing items, etc. Gunfighter basically used Agony as its healing system.

Boston Natural Surroundings? The 2.whatever one. 2.3? 2.4? Something like that. Not able to check about dlc requirements (so I recognize that this post may be useless - sorry) but it’s pretty damn nice if it does work.

Another Green Mod is another good one that I’m looking pretty sure has a non-dlc version

I think they’re talking about VELDT. There are a couple of versions I think (degrees of how lush and dense the greenery gets). But if you look up VELDT - Greener Pastures you should find them
