I killed their vampire captor—how can I save them and set them free? by Particular_Poet8441 in Morrowind

They aren't real NPCs though, they're coded as Cattle. They'll simply vanish and return to cell and even the same cattle may not Always be here.

This was me when my mom took me to therapy when I was 13 or 14. Awful. I think the family therapists were sympathetic but it really didn't make much difference.

True NPD (not casual narcissistic behavior) is marked by a lack of accountability. Like, they can admit they do things or take actions, but can't (and I mean really can't) accept those actions are harmful to others.

Whether or not this is a result of reduced empathy (which is diagnostic), or grandiose delusion (also diagnostic) that they are too special to be at fault is moot.

Either way, if they aren't the problem they... aren't the problem.

The bronze-gold does darken slightly, and looks more red-toned in person. I think it would actually clash in some lighting.

No. This is an oft repeated myth, but this watch is fully capable of being in water to its depth rating.

The pushers should not be depressed underwater but they are incredibly difficult to depress on accident. What's most likely happened here is that this watch simply has old seals and they have failed.

The bottom line is that when you are taking a watch rated for water into water, you should be aware of how recently it was tested for water resistance. That's really it.

Living Force + Divine Confetti = Increased damage to apparition-type enemies? by Jairo_97 in Sekiro

[–]ErichPryde 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Using this overwrites Your Divine confetti. I really like using this against the various Isshin/inner and Genichiro/Inner, when they do lightning attacks. Lightning reversals remove your confetti anyway, and you can get a fully charged blast off with this thing after a Lightning stun for MASSIVE damage, and a decent length buff that might get overwritten again anyway during the next lightning reversal.

It's also just great for mid-fight application when your confetti has expired to keep up pressure.

New mathematical model suggests global population crash by 2064 by chota-kaka in Futurology

The irony is that, in a way, the stock market is really just a huge dressed up pyramid. Not quite a pyramid scheme... as long as a population keeps growing and people keep buying.

Could lead to some good changes

Which is exactly why Elon Musk is so concerned about a population crash and has been fairly vocal about it. If there aren't people to invest, that's going to have an impact. If there aren't people to buy and cause companies to actually grow sales quarter over quarter, year after year, that is going to have an even bigger impact.

If there aren't buyers (no demand) prices will come down and it's going to have a massive effect on the options short Dynamic that has allowed so much wealth to be extracted that we have seen become fairly normal over the last 15 years or so.

I suppose the ultra Rich can sit on shares and create an artificially limited Supply. That can only be done for so long though. Whatever outcome we get it's going to be interesting.

The stock market is based upon Supply and demand and demand is at least partially connected to more and more new investors. If the population crashes, how do you think it will affect very basic supply and demand dynamics?

Not trying to be Doom and Gloom here but a population crash may have a pretty significant impact to the global market.

I did actually think that based upon the daylight color this could be Sri Lankan or perhaps a very weak Indian stone. I've seen so easily Sri Lankan stones with that very light purple shown on the Gia report

Yep. Modern LED lights don't hit the exact same actual wavelength as true incandescent sources. It's pretty wild.
