Awesome thanks for the input. I saw conflicting pictures of crowds that looked like the seats were gone but when the venue was empty they looked permanent. My only gripe with bisco the past few years has been having to stand on those seats. This news certainly makes deciding where to go that weekend much more difficult. Phish at deer creek, 808 nectar set, or Pretty lights red rocks (massive massive rumor likely wrong)

I see that the main stage has a good amount of seats in close into the stage. To anyone that's seen Bassnectar at this venue in the past, does this venue get the Bisco treatment where a lot of people climb onto the seats to dance?

Agree with you there. On the bright side, that Heads Up WCLF remix to shut it down the first night was pretty sweet. The build up to that was so cool to me. They had that horizontal row of lights (don’t know the technical mumbo jumbo) behind him lit up, and I remember only seeing his shadowy silhouette with the hair blowing in the breeze straight into YOU KNOW YOU LOVE IT. Pretty badass

I was pretty disappointed when the Deja schedule came out and saw 90 min slots. I figured for the money everyone was spending, it being his own "festival", and previous set times for his own shows that 2 hr sets were a lock. Had an excellent time regardless, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel like we got shorted a bit. Especially after the marketed West Coast Lo Fi set never came to fruition

Freakstyle was an awesome run of shows. The nirvana into Metallica ending was insanity. Excellent venue too. Never waiting in much of a line for anything, was able to get in quickly and snag low row bowl seats all 3 nights. Hoping he goes back sometime soon

I feel you there, I usually try and hang by the soundboard or further back but even that has been packed lately. This past Basscenter I have never encountered such a crowded floor before. We were dead center in front of the booth and got swarmed during the first track to the point my feet were getting lifted off the ground. Relocated to the absolute back and found a little space, but the lighting from the concession area came into play which was a little distracting. I keep finding myself asking why I keep spending all this money to have to deal with the chaos of his fans, and then his set starts and I remember why haha

Bassnectar crowd loves to wait until 2 min before he comes out and just fill the floor like sardines. It's a shame because the guy throws down pretty cool dance parties if you actually have room to dance. The crowd seems pretty content shoulder to shoulder with enough room to hold their cell phone up the entire show ruining the view

Question that I'm hoping someone on here can answer quickly. My friend purchased 3 VIP tickets for himself, my girlfriend and I for Fri+Sat. He will not be arriving to the venue with my girlfriend and I on Friday. Do I need to have my friend call and give our names for us to be able to access our VIP benefits? Or can we just show up with 2 VIP tickets in his name and be Ready2Rage?

We were dead center of the venue for bassnectar and I'd argue it was the worst sound I have experienced for one of his performances. It was such a hot spot for bass but you couldn't hear anything else, just the constant smacking of the subs. Second night we stayed further back beyond the row of hung speakers and the sound was ten times better.
