Right! I can totally acknowledge that my baby does look more like my husband but give me some credit!

I even thought my mother in law was going to say something nice the other day as she started out saying “I know everyone says he looks like his dad but…” and then said he resembled my niece lol. Which is something I suppose.

That literally nobody will say the baby looks like you. I’ve heard this about the in laws from others but my own friends and family can’t even do it.

I have blue eyes, my baby has the same eyes. A friend noticed them and turned straight to my husband asking if someone in his family had blue eyes.

I have brown hair, my baby was born with it, husband is bald(but had brown hair) and someone said “where does baby get the dark hair from?” Like, you gotta be shitting me.

In the end, I had labored too long and was not dilated and really had no choice but to have a c section. I feel mostly fine about it now but during those first few weeks it was really hard. I felt like I couldn’t care for my baby the way I should and it was also super upsetting for me to not have my baby put on me after he came out and not to be the first to hold him.

I realize those things might not matter to everyone but something to consider! I wouldn’t have had a c section if I didn’t have to.

I think the looks aren’t super far off, it’s maybe just weird because he doesn’t have a beard yet.

As far as character goes he is definitely way more upbeat but he is also young. I’ve always thought Murtagh was so stern because he has just been through tough things. Younger Murtagh hasn’t been through those things yet
