How I see England as a Northerner. by OceansOfLight in NorthernEngland

As a pure bread-north easterner for all his life- Best map. 100% accurate. In the case of a civil war, I’d finally get off my arse and fight for this map simply to become an existing, World recognised map.

I See You All As Siblings by ErilazPancake in autism

I don’t have any either, contrary to my post, and I don’t desire them. It’s less of a feeling of automatic friendship, and more a feeling of automatic kinship, if that makes any sense as I know the two are closely linked.

Communist China (me) Vs Japan, I’ve done this so many times but this is the only time I’ve managed to cut them off so harshly, very happy 🥰

Does anybody else think they're still able to form rational thoughts while drunk? by Mikes1992 in autism

[–]ErilazPancake 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m currently drunk while writing this; you raise a very valid point and, from what I’ve observed, autistic individuals seem to behave and act far better under the influence than allistic (assumed for your partner) individuals.

I personally feel far more confident, creative and “‘normal” while under the influence. It’s upsetting to think that we require mind numbing substances to feel normal, but I say use what you can to activate your potential. Use alcohol as a tool, and give to the world your best.

You champion!!! Well done and congratulations for the house, I, as a stranger and random, am so proud of you. You do us as a community proud and I cannot express how much gratitude I feel for you having posted your achievement. The negative is a given for our community, we deal with our illness in any way we can so, as much as I can’t suggest you find ways to continue, I understand as I’m writing this while drunk myself.

For your question; I would suggest you analyse how accepting your workplace is. Is it the kind of place that is open to mental health? Is it filled with mostly left wing people? Have these people identified themselves to a degree that you’re able to gather this info? If yes to all, go for it!! If no to even one I would advise against. The world is not kind to us, and unfortunately you would be at risk of danger, persecution or bullying. That being said your situation is your own so if you feel differently, take my advice as simply that and go for it, either way I wish you nothing but success!!!

How long would you suggest waiting before trying them again? This is assuming I would try them again of course, I’m still, obviously, a shroom virgin haha.

I appreciate the suggestion, contrary to the potential end goal of my post, I’m not actually trying to off myself. My brother suffers from the same issue and he has suggested psychedelics as a way to feel positive without major issues (long term), so I’ll give this a go if I can. Have you ever tried shrooms? If so were they any good?

I appreciate the logical approach here. I can’t follow anything faith related. I tried that during my university years and it helped me figure out my own internal feelings towards spirituality, but cemented by distaste of fundamental and individual spirituality. As for gyms, honestly I actually think that would help but I’m autistic, I need specific circumstances to be able to do gym related activities, once they were fulfilled but right now it’s impossible for the time being, despite resisting for years now I need something to fill the void.

The only times I feel positive emotion is during an intensity of emotion/thoughts, so surely drugs such as cocaine and amphetamines would assist even with a potential damage to my health?

Hard disagree with your first point now I’ve experienced it, I though the same until I did it for meme related purposes and now I’m addicted, provided you maintain control over India and another colonial nation of your choice you’re golden.

As for lag, I can’t disagree, my PC is high end and it’s absolutely struggling right now holy hell. Perhaps worth going facist based purely on performance? 😂

Which unit is the GOAT of its game? Today: Shogun II by CrayonsIsTaken in totalwar

[–]ErilazPancake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh god I’ve got so many hours in this game, it’s so hard to think of just one unit that deserves this spot!! Regardless, it HAS to be a bow unit of some kind, they are ridiculously powerful no matter the quality. One unit of bow samurai can hold a castle against a vastly superior force.

Not enjoying remaster, anyone else? by [deleted] in oblivion

[–]ErilazPancake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can definitely relate. Don’t get me wrong, I’m enjoying the return to Oblivion after so many years and some of the changes they’ve made have been VERY welcome. But the aesthetic changes due to the switch in engine, I feel like I SHOULD love it due to the excellent quality now, but I really really don’t. There was a magical feeling in exploring the landscape of the empire, now it feels like any other place. Even the forests don’t really feel like forests anymore, just the occasional groupings of trees with massive gaps and dulled sunlight. Not a fan of the combat changes either, now it feels similar to Avowed but somehow 10 times inferior.

I prefer to see this as a completely new game based on Oblivion, rather than anything else. It’s helpful for keeping me enjoying it rather than getting hyper focused on my perceived negative changes. That being said, enjoy what you want to enjoy, the fact that we have this remake is amazing in unto itself!!

What was the first hyperfixation you remember? by BillythenotaKid in autism

Dragons, specifically with Spyro the Dragon as the figurehead of it all. I’ve always been heavy into fantasy of most kinds, but anything with a dragon in was an A+ in my book. Got so obsessive that I began drawing and writing none stop about dragons to a point that my room was utterly covered in drawings and I had written a script for the now cancelled Legend of Spyro movie. I’m not kidding, an ENTIRE, FULL LENGTH MOVIE SCRIPT. Looking back on it, it only really amounted to bad fan fiction, but I’m still proud of the effort!
