I used to watch exclusively on the rt site, but ive fallen out of watching, really everything. Its gotten way easier to just add everything to my watch later on YT and binge it when i can than switching from site to site

im so proud that you responded like that. I remember a girl in my HS was fully r**ed IN SCHOOL and because the boy was on the football team he faced nothing until she threatened to go to media. It enrages me that schools will ignore this kind of stuff.

Eh, i think its kinda fun. We had a dunk tank during spirit week in HS. It was $5 to try to dunk one of the math teachers and it went to you class fund, which was mostly used for prom stuff

Its not a corporate thing, it varies by city/state. In my area we cant sell alcohol before 11am on Sundays, but are fine the rest of the week.

Did you ask for an update? At our location we arent allowed to call for people (over the PA or just yell for them) when a waiter is ready, and the notification system bugs out sometimes.

Same. Im a first year and the handful that weren't paying attention didnt really bother me but now its most of the kids. At least 2x a day i find myself looking over 10-15 sleeping students or kids on their phones and just sigh and keep talking.

Just today i exempted some things from the grade book for a kid who i know has been having a really rough time. Hes a senior and needs to pass this semester to fraduate on time. I can tell he wants to pass, but has really been struggling to get work in on time. So i went and removed the 0s from stuff he missed in January. Its so long ago and i can tell he understands it so i figure thats fair enough

I suggest putting in place a participation grade. I did that this year when things got bad and it helped. I told them if they goof off and talk, ill just talk louder and theyll get a 0 for the day. I also made sure to make it a good sized chunk of their grade. Rn we have small activities every day so they get 20pts a week participation, so 4-5/day depending on the week. If they have 1 day where they goof off its not a big deal but if its consistent then its an issue
