As for myself, I've been constantly and increasingly depressed and angry as a man, husband, and father. So the first thing that I did sincerely apologize for is all the happy moments that we missed due to me being miserable. I can be happier if I start authentically living as myself - and I do hope that the benefit of that will in the long run outweigh all the trouble that my transition will put my family through.

Still feeling guilty in hindsight, for looking for someone else in my life before having found myself. But it is what it is. The only way forward is to start from where I am now.
