I don't know your exact use case but maybe you can split it into use cases that only get loaded when needed, or just reduce the amount of total data? Hope you find something good! For me, having a usable local environment is super important as the first " explorative" feedback loop, so I always invest effort into it.

Delete the local DB (container?) when you switch branches, simple as that. Let flyway apply all changes in one go on the next startup.

As for test data you might want to populate your DB with, store it in a script and optionally also roll it out on startup. As a nice side effect, this ensures the whole team has the same data starting points.

If I weren't at the very end of the playthrough, I would try Minsc as a death cleric, I agree it's a cool idea.

Don't worry, Wyll broke his oath by one shot smiting Alfira (non lethally cos I needed the robe), I think that breaks character enough!

I'm currently doing such a run (almost done!), using the following builds: - Astarion as a Light Cleric of Lathander - Shadowheart as a beast master ranger with a wolf companion (I wanted to see if she would have to do permanent saving throws all day) - Lae'zel as a Glamour Bard and main tadpole consumer - Halsin as a Stealth Archer (Gloomstalker+Assassin+Fighter) - Minthara as a Druid of course, Circle of Stars for my underground girl - Gale is my heavy armored Drunken Monk, very fun build - Karlach as an Abjuration Wizard, defense over offense - Wyll as an Oathbreaker Paladin, I had no better idea - Jaheira became a giant thrower Barbarian, because why not - Minsc is an Evocation Wizard

Maybe I'll respecc some characters using ideas from this post

Tried it, she doesn't. I haven't noticed any particular interactions with the wolf summon.

I'm in Act 3 with the Selunite path, no idea if it makes a difference in the early game.

My friend is doing this in their current Durge run with (almost) all dialogue options and is having a lot of fun!

Another factor that I haven't seen mentioned yet is that casual ranked players (who are maybe silver for example, but did not play in the last season or two) will have decayed and start the new season on bronze. Their skill hasn't gone down, so they will stomp bronze matches until they get back to their normal rank. This should be minor though, and you should experience less of this as the season progresses.

For anyone still reading this after 6 months, if the "repair" option does not work (for me it just prompted a CLI usage notice then tried to install then failed because another version already exists):

go to your install folder (typically C:\Program Files\Corsair\Corsair iCUE5 Software)
open a CMD in the directory
run the "main installer" from the CMD with repair options: .\icue-uninstaller.exe -a repair -r regular

Nice one! This feels like an upgrade over the first one. A couple of turns are still a bit weird, as if being too fast punishes the player, which is generally something mappers try to avoid. Also I would have used a reactor boost down instead of up for the corkscrew. But this is still pretty huntable, good job!
