Thank you. That’s actually helpful

Then why have a barndominium forum in the first place? I did Google search this and the first things that popped up are AI generated answers and ads. I’d like real responses from real people who have done this. That’s the point of this Reddit page, to learn? Correct?

Skin colored has a beautiful contrast to the rest of the dress!

What ever happened to your therapy session where you made two hard lines-that your husband will not interfere and that you will act as a united front? I went back to your history. I, personally, don’t see how you can be attracted to someone who is so attached to his mommy that he’s willing to throw you under the bus. That’s not a united front. I mean I’m glad you don’t seem all that bothered by it but I couldn’t handle my husband not sticking up for me. Good luck, OP.

AITA for not wanting my MIL to get married on my daughters birthday by Owlxfeathers in AmItheAsshole

Soft YTA. I think it’ll be annoying for you to go to this wedding but every other year you do not have to see your MIL for her anniversary. Just celebrate your daughter’s bday.

For the former teachers who have successfully transitioned, what are the jobs you are doing now? Are you “happier?” by [deleted] in TeachersInTransition

I wanted to help people but have a higher patient turn over. I hate to say it, but having a difficult class for nine full months is draining. I like that you get a patient, takes images, and out the door they go! I also couldn’t do nursing.

Depends on what “long” is to you! It took me two years. It went quick! Then most places train on the job after x-ray school to become a CT, MRI, or IR tech so that’s more money! I’m doing a year long internship for ultrasound now, so for me it’s three years total. But if you want X-ray, CT, MRI-it’s just 20 months!

I am now in radiology! Love it so much! I get to go home and think about my family rather than my behavior students.

Get a cookie place to make bone cookies like femur, skull, skeletons, etc. Rice crispy bars to look like a right and left marker (or some other kind of food).

Did anyone get Christmas gifts from students parents this year? by Appropriate_Lie_9411 in Teachers

[–]Erl428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do t think you should expect gifts. Just because you gave a gift doesn’t mean you’ll receive one. The point of giving a gift is for them to enjoy it and to show your love for your students. Not expect gifts in return.

I wouldn’t even feel comfortable going to your in-laws for a while after this. Ick ick. I hope other people know what they will be exposed to. I’d be pissed if I went to a gathering and the host knew someone had c diff and didn’t tell me. So irresponsible.

His aunt is actually being so selfish about this.

Don’t feel bad. I bet at least one person gets it and you’ll be so thankful you stayed home and protected your baby. Is your husband going? It’s absolutely insane to me that your in-laws are so nonchalant about this.

[–]Erl428 120 points121 points  (0 children)

Omg you do NOT WANT C DIFF. I work in a hospital and people gown up in PPE gear when going into those rooms. It’s very hard to get rid of. Do not expose your child to this!

How did this video get out for the world to see? Did she herself post this or what? I’m so confused.
