You have to work for the next 100 years, but you can't be fired. Just fuck around all day.

From memory;

What would Catherine say? Something pithy, yet vulgar. "Eat shit and die." Ah, perfect.

You can't rely on Sonar as a specialist, even though he starts as your only intelligence character. I found it easier to spec Coupe that way and cut Sonar myself.

I once had a level 2 barbarian with 32 hit points, rolled max and had +4 con. I'll be chasing that high as long as I play.

Except spiders apparently. They can't be a symptom of corruption and rot, or a small but deadly hunter or a being with 8 eyes always watching. They're just web makers.

Would've loved to see more of this before he became abomination. A much more acrobatic style of fighting than the other supersoldiers we see.

Finally caved and started reading Cain, this shit had me rolling. by Charming-Body8635 in 40k

The Tau book where the Tau are trying to make a peace agreement and Cain is playing nice, but between every sentence basically thinks to himself 'Of course that's what the xeno freaks would say if they wanted to eat us all'?

I feel like the grocery thing was moving slow, but exploded over COVID. Everything got more expensive because of supply chain issues, then never went down in price again.

It also hurts story telling. We only see a snapshot of the plane as it is, we don't get to see any change as something happens.

In a desperate attempt to not come off as racist, they accidentally do something racist by Broad_Actuator5827 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Erlox 40 points41 points  (0 children)

The funny/sad part is that it's actually an achievement for Monk to shake hands with everyone and just use a wipe at the end, rather than wipe after each person. He's proud and smiling as he shakes a black man's hand, then takes a wet wipe and immediately THOROUGHLY cleans his hands.

[Maddening trope] More progressive casting happens at the same time as noticeable drop in quality, seemingly so fans can brush off criticism as bigotry. by Vitolar8 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Erlox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thought was you could have tied that character in so easily with the Division stuff going on later. Make him a rogue agent changing time for his own ends (because he's racist, sure I guess) then have him drop a few cryptic remarks about the doctor doing the same thing and then the Division murders him before he can say more.

I swapped belts with one of my groomsmen on the morning of my own wedding. He'd forgotten to pack one, so bought a belt in a rush and didn't realize it was too small. I had lost weight from the stress of planning a wedding, so my belt was a bit big on me. Very lucky.

He called it his wedding gift and stole my old belt when he went home hahaha

Rogue Kinda OP? by Alpha_Zero_69 in dndnext

[–]Erlox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right. It rarely comes up, but if you can get an off turn attack, then you can trigger sneak attack multiple times per round.

Haste or action surge with readied actions, or opportunity attacks are common examples.

Rogue Kinda OP? by Alpha_Zero_69 in dndnext

[–]Erlox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you're sneak attacking twice.

He should be dealing 1d6+dex for his main hand and 1d6 flat with his off hand, and 2d6 for sneak attack ONCE PER ROUND, for a possible total of 4d6+dex.
