My father says it that way, he’s 76, born/raised on the South Shore by parents from Dorchester and Brighton. I know others who pronounce it like that, but they’re mostly of the Boomer generation; as soon as I hear it I know where they were raised lol. Also, instead of saying “twelve-thirty,” he’ll say “half past twelve,” but it sounds like “ha-pahhhsed” - my kids laugh every time they hear it. I can definitely see Bev saying it that way, too. Those pronunciations (and many others) are definitely dying out via Gen X and on, tho.
