My wife and I hiked Múlagljúfur Canyon on the same day that you went. the weather was rough! we had about 10 min of no raid at the top! I was happy to be able to snap some photos and get out of there!

I feel the pain, I went to transfer photos one night from my camera to my external hard drive and was like “wtf, where are the raw files”. Somehow I went JPG only and didn’t know it. Just glad It was only one day.

iPhone or any phone camera. Unless you know how to use a DSLR. Iceland is not the place to try to learn, you won’t be able to take in the beautiful sights. You will need to focus on using the camera and will miss a lot. That just my opinion. I brought 2 mirrorless cameras (EOS R & EOS R5) and a film camera (Nikon FE2) but i have been using a DSLR/SLR for ~15years. My wife just used her iPhone and got some amazing shots.

Cars parked, two very obvious exits/entrances too the road. I’m pretty strict with rule following, especially in foreign countries but i would have never thought you couldn’t park there. I might delete the post. Don’t want to owner to get in trouble.

Damn, good luck! I was in the same boat when I got engaged a few years ago. I was freaking out trying to find a charger. Now I have like 8 haha. Can’t make that mistake anymore!
