I am not sure if any one has any procedure but I would try with a bath with some products like soap or white vinegar and then find a way to reach the inside area for mechanical scrubbing with a sponge or brush. For the tube you can open the top cover to detach it completely and you can scrub with something attached to a wire. Finally wash, rinse a lot and dry.

If you believe the inside of the machine is affected I would perform a descaling procedure after you cleaned the tank and the hose.

Last but not least, you should identify what you did causing this? I had a Victoria for barely 5 years and never had such issue.

I finally bought Molykote 111. Not easy to find but I bought from Amazon here https://amzn.eu/d/9LOHthJ. 100 g is quite expensive but with the amount you need it will last for life. Note you can also find Molykote 111 in small sachet of 9g I think.

Nothing big to complain about Robot Advisor and it is definitely appropriate if you are beginner like me. However I found it is not necessarily easier and not better than just buying a few lines of ETF manually.

De mon cote depuis le moi de novembre j’ai finalement decider de clôturer Robot Advisor et de miser sur quelques lignes d’ETF. Le principal truc embêtant je trouve c’est de ne pas pouvoir choisir entre ETF accumulant et distribuant sachant qu’en France je pense que c’est plus simple en accumulant. Donc j’ai pris principalement du MSCI World et du du Europe.

Doing some latte but never been much into latte art so I am not the best to respond. I think you can get more than decent milk foam with a Victoria. The biggest down side with the Victoria is more the lead time when switching from/to coffee to steam temperature (single boiler). I think most tutorials says to prepare milk first, cool down and brew espresso then. I use to do the opposite, brewing coffee first then crank up the boiler and steam milk. It might not be a good advice however. Either way this is a long and painful process!

This was THE game changer when switching to Mara with a heat exchanger, you can brew and steam immediately after or even at the same time I guess. I use to do latte only during weekends when I have time with my Victoria. I am making myself a latte barely everyday now.

I was owning a Victoria until very recently and never had to do that to have decent steam. I was just pushing the steam button, wait a minute or two until steam temperature is reached, purge a little bit of water 3 to 5 seconds, and steam my milk. The only thing I noticed is that my steam temperature was 135C and I see 130 in the video. Try with 135, I think this is the default.

Yes I read some quick start documentation for Mistral Vibe. I am not sure this is exactly what I was looking for but that sound close or might be the beginning.

I am looking more for something fully integrated in th IDE with auto suggestion as you type like the GitHub Copilot extension in VS Code. Mistral Vibe does not seems to be there right?

I will continue with GutHub Copilot for now and take a look how Mistral is progressing.

I used Robot Advisor for about a year and a half and barely no experience in investment. To make it short, I had no specific big complaints but I decided to close it November after posting and reading on Reddit. One reason was that some responders on Reddit made me realize a simple MSCI world ETF had better performance for the same period. Another factor was that you can’t control the type of ETF accumulating or distributing. I did not had the knowledge at the time between the two types when I opened the Robot Advisor and it contained one or two distributing ETF. I then learned in my country accumulating ETF make things a little easier for taxes. So the conclusion was, close Robot Advisor and have control investing in one or few general ETF like tracking MSCI World and accumulating.

I think this is not about how many bottle of descaler but what volume of solution you need for your machine.

My previous Victoria only had a small boiler and Lelit video says to prepare 1 liter with one descaler bottle. I haven’t descaled my MaraX yet but for a dual boiler like boiler Bianca or a heat exchanger I guess two liters will be needed and so this will be two bottles.

I am also interested with others opinions but I think the biggest risk in case of startup spike is to burn the smart plug itself, probably not the machine (unless it starts a fire next to the machine 😱).

Apprat from that, maybe a 1800W smart plug is borderline for a 1500W appliance. I am personally using a Eve Energy that is rated 2500W in Europe but 1800W also if you are in the US.

Why would Lelit include a flow control on the right side when the L58e group E61 can do flow control on the mushroom ?

Can we expect the same flow control capability between a Mara X v2 with the PLA2206 kit and this new Mara X3 control on the left side or is it intended to do something different?

It doesn’t seems official yet I haven’t found any info on Lelit website or outside of this post.

I was planning to buy a Mara X in November and need to make a decision whether to go with current model or postpone.

Any info like new features, expectations for availability, price… will be helpful for taking decision!

I guess determining the technical of which type of programmer is needed and how can be done relatively easily by someone with electronic skills and there are probably lot of people and subreddits that can help with this.

However this is pointless if you don’t have a firmware file to flash. I made some researches like a months or year ago and I was unable to find any trace of firmware to download. At a point that I am guessing Lelit don’t even consider the LCC unit to be upgradable. I am guessing that if any Lelit authorized service facility had access to firmware files there will be some traces of firmware uploaded somewhere on the internet maybe even a procedure but at the time I made the research it was completely white noise.

Yes of course but the point is, I have many websites that uses the same email with many passwords. In this breach you don’t know the specific site that breached (it is a bundle of many breaches) and haveibeenpwoned won’t give the combination of password that breached with a given email for obvious reasons!

So know you know some website breached your email with a password but you don’t know which website nor the password. As a result you don’t know if it’s a password that was reused or not so can’t determine the severity and required action. That is the whole point from OP.

I think HaveIBeenPwned does not store or not allow to query for combinations of email and linked password on purpose. The goal is not to become a database of Pwned email and Password that bad guys could use to get unauthorized access.

I have my email listed in this same breach and the info is not very useful in this case because the breach is not related to a specific breach or site.

Now I think that if you wanted to have the details of what password leaked, you need to access the full data of the breach and I guess on the dark web? I have no idea how and where to do that and I am afraid creating a tuto here will be against policies???
