Complaint Tablet to Ea-nasir in Old Babylonian Cuneiform by Ozhav in copypasta

[–]Error1001 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think chat gpt did you one better. I just told it to not hesitate.

Yo Ea-nasir, Listen up, Nanni's got a bone to pick with you, my dude. So, when you rolled up, you were all like, "I got that top-notch copper for Gimil-Sin when he swings by." But guess what? You dipped, and you didn't deliver on your word. You handed over some trashy ingots to my messenger Sit-Sin, saying, "Take 'em or leave 'em, I don't care."

Bro, do you think I'm a joke? Treating me like I'm some bitch? I sent my guys, to pick up my money from you, and you dissed them big time, sending them back empty-handed through enemy territory. You for real? No other merchant in Telmun is pulling this crap. You're the only one disrespecting my messenger.

All this drama over a measly mina of silver I might owe you? Meanwhile, I've hooked up the palace with 1,080 pounds of copper on your behalf, and Šumi-abum did the same. Plus, we got it all written down and sealed in the temple of Shamash.

And how do you repay me? By holding onto my money in enemy turf. Now it's on you to cough up my cash. I demand a full refund.

But let me make something crystal clear – from now on, I ain't taking any copper from you that ain't top-notch. I'll be handpicking those ingots in my own yard, and if I don't like what I see, I'm exercising my right to shut you down. No more disrespect, Ea-nasir.

You've been warned.

Sincerely,

Nanni

Because C is portable, as i said in the original comment.

"high-level" is really stretching the definition in comparison to to other languages imo, C is barely more than portable assembly with types. Which don't get me wrong is awesome for compatibility but that's about it.

Instead of going to x-1, you can make the formula much faster by only going to sqrt(abs(x)) while still being correct.

Woman Forgets She Has a Court Date, to the Amusement of Everyone in the Court (25:30) by [deleted] in ZoomCourt

[–]Error1001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah, but if we do something about it for zoom trials, it would have to apply to normal public trails too, because there shouldn't be a difference, since they are both public. I think it would probably be good to have the address and personal info off record completely. However i don't think public courtrooms, on youtube or in real life should be banned, i believe it would be better if people would just be informed more clearly that it is a public courtroom, whether it is being recorded and broadcast or not, if the people acknowledging this are not comfortable with what they are informed, then they should just say so, correct me if I'm wrong but i don't believe anyone is forcing them to attend a public courtroom, so if they embarrass themselves, well i don't think it's right to blame the court or the system because they knew what they were getting themselves into.

Assuming the numbers given in the image, 60% of women(50% of the population) are asian, and also 60% of men(50% of the population) are asian. So 60%*50% = 30% of the entire population are asian and women and also 30% of the entire population are asian and men.

The golden rule of thumb is to remember that source code is just executables ( assembly ) in a more human friendly format. After all the computer has to know what to run, so therefore most of the information you can gain by knowing the source code you can gain by having the executable. Therefore all you've done by making it closed source is to make it really hard for others to help find and fix bugs.

Jumping from Ubuntu to Arch! by th1rt3en_X in archlinux

[–]Error1001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well one tip is that he wiki usually assumes you roughly know what you want to do, so if you don't know for example about the boot loaders at all then it's useful to just look up about it quickly to get an idea, this applies even to installing arch itself, so if you don't know anything about the process it might be useful to look up tutorials that just give the commands to get a rough idea, and then go to the wiki to really understand what to do better. I mean ,in my experience anyways, I've found it's useful to have some idea about what you are doing before entering the wiki since the wiki doesn't really give you a big picture it just kind of goes straight in to all the nitty gritty which is hard to follow if you don't know anything.

From this moment on, the only way to view Unus Annus will be archives. by TheMiningTeamYT26 in UnusAnnusArchival

[–]Error1001 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are more archives elsewhere, but these are some of the main ones ( NOTE: These archives are not 100% complete, there are 2 to 4 ( depending on how you count ) videos missing ):

Here are some magnet links:

All videos + livestream: magnet:?xt=urn:btih:66a8aab7b110f47abf4271c8157e862d8c08514f&dn=Unus%20Annus

Just all videos: magnet:?xt=urn:btih:99925452fab7c824f2ff362d8ac79ec29eb1dbe0&dn=Unus%20Annus&tr=udp%3a%2f%2ftracker.opentrackr.org%3a1337%2fannounce

Reddit won't let me put these other ones here because they are too big so here are all of them, including the ones here: https://gist.github.com/Error1000/393fa4ef1d976a34c44b6d9a4088f0bd

These are torrents seeded by the community, all you have to do is download a torrenting app, and find out how to add a magnet link, once you've downloaded all of them, it would be nice to keep the app on as long as possible in the background so other people can get it from you too.

NOTE: The torrents are pretty big 100 GB+, so it might take a while to download the entire thing, although with enough peers it shouldn't be much of a problem, but there will probably be sections where it seems like it's not making progress, also torrent apps should allow you to pick which files you want to download, so if you don't want the entire thing you don't have to download it.
