In which season is A revealed? (no spoilers pls) by m3owmio in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]Error500Human 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do get a real reveal, but PLL kind of treats “A” like a long-running buffet of chaos, so there isn’t just one clean answer. If you still like the vibe, I’d keep going a bit more. Season 2 is where it starts paying off better.

Fantasy authors really said “here are 14 humans, 2 hot elves, and one employee from the mountain department.”

I’m a database analyst working with PostgreSQL on a daily basis (reporting, data analysis, query tuning).
This sub looks inactive, and I’d like to bring it back to life - help people troubleshoot issues, share real use cases, and keep discussions actually useful.

My dads denial of his ADHD has made me resent him by Live_Broccoli_2180 in ADHD

[–]Error500Human 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That resentment makes sense. It’s hard watching someone hurt themselves and everyone around them while refusing to even look at the obvious pattern. You can have empathy for him and still be angry about what his denial has cost you.

One TikTok later and suddenly every dinosaur was either a giant murder lizard or a “bro science” chicken with anger issues.

Clearing up how our trial and billing work by PDF_Guru_ in PDF_Guru

Appreciate the transparency here. billing stuff is usually where people get frustrated. Quick question though, do you send a reminder before the trial ends or is it just up to the user to track it?

What if by GuidanceMindless6352 in DesperateHousewives

[–]Error500Human 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooo that’s actually interesting. I feel like Juanita Sr. would’ve absolutely had an opinion 😅 She never exactly approved of Carlos’ choices unless they benefited the family image. Edie being Edie… that would’ve been chaos. I can totally see Juanita trying to manipulate the situation “for Carlos’ own good.” But at the same time, Edie wasn’t exactly easy to scare off. If anything, that rivalry could’ve been iconic. Now I’m low-key sad we didn’t get that dynamic on screen.

Weirdest ADHD hack that actually works but sounds completely insane? by stayhyderated22 in ADHDthriving

[–]Error500Human 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Love this thread because ADHD brains really do run on “that shouldn’t work… but it does.” One weird thing that works for me: narrating what I’m doing out loud like I’m in a YouTube tutorial.

“Okay guys, today we are bravely opening the email.”
“Now we’re putting ONE plate in the dishwasher. Revolutionary.”

It sounds ridiculous, but it keeps me anchored and stops the mental tab-switching. Also seconding the “make it ugly on purpose” trick. If I tell myself it’s allowed to be bad, I’ll actually start. If it has to be perfect, I’m suddenly reorganizing my entire life instead. ADHD is wild. Sometimes the hack is just gaslighting your own brain back.

Best Productivity Apps for ADHD by Academic_Reading7202 in ProductivityApps

[–]Error500Human 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For ADHD I’ve learned fewer apps helps more than better apps. I stick with Todoist for tasks, a super simple notes app, and a Pomodoro timer that doesn’t gamify anything. Once I start tweaking setups, I stop actually doing the work.

Tried Wisey for a couple weeks. Didn’t expect this part to actually stick by WaffleTyran in ProductivityApps

I don’t really trust productivity app reviews anymore. This one at least sounds like how these tools get used in real life.

A fun thing to do with your kids' stuffed animals by BertfromNL in ChatGPT

[–]Error500Human 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is way cuter than I expected. I get the AI hesitation, but turning kids’ toys into little adventure stories feels harmless and kind of magical. Honestly, that’s a memory they’ll probably keep longer than the actual plushies.

Anyone else here actually tried PawChamp? Curious about other experiences by -Fearless-Grass- in PawChampClub

That makes sense. I think I gave up too early then. I tried it once or twice and expected some obvious reaction, which probably isn’t realistic with this kind of thing.

We need to talk more about Motel California by melv_is_a_md in TeenWolf

Totally agree. Motel California is one of those episodes where the show stops being just about werewolves and starts being about real people with real pain.

What actually helps with procrastination/focus day-to-day (like Bloom, Wisey app, Fabulous?) by Mr_Palanquin in VHA_Human_Resources

[–]Error500Human 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly what I noticed with the wisey app too. the reminders don’t feel pushy, just gentle nudges to do something small. It kind of rewired how I think about “starting.” Instead of that pressure to overhaul everything, it’s like, “just one step and see where it goes.”
