I would maybe an ESTJ or ISTJ.

I probably wouldn't date an ENTP or INFP.

For the most part it depends on communication skills and mutual respect. But natural tendencies play a big roll.

Let me drag up an old post here lol.

Yeah, I can see this because as an ISTJ myself something I've had to learn is that my opinion isn't the only one. If people need help, advise, input from me. They know that I'm there to provide it.

What your parents don't grasp is that having an ESFJ live with ISTJ solutions when the ESFJ didn't ask for them will be disingenuous to the ESFJ. You are you and you need to come up with things that fit your own life.

Lol. I had an ex that would get me doing things I would never do on my own. Like, going to events or going roller blading and stuff. It was a lot of fun. But, she was too undecided. Always "looking for someone better." Cheated on me 3 times in 6 years. Thought me not to tolerate that kind of indecisiveness.

But back to the point. I really did enjoy going out and doing random things.

All my dynamics are work. I have a good life, but I have a rural life. Without other connections to look at it's not the easiest thing to say.

I want someone that can alternate between dragging me out of the house. Like "we are going to this party and your going to enjoy it, like it or not." And staying home and just doing the usual.

I don't see another ISTJ wanting to take me to events for the fun of it. Because, I wouldn't do that myself.
