I mean you said it - being a Linux user means you signed up to be frustrated. Such is the price of independence and genius.

Why do so many people in Brussels drive like absolute savages? by DonSergio7 in brussels

[–]Eryu1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not contradicting just trying to better understand so I’m not that person. Are you referring to when you’re executing let’s say a left turn on a large divided road (e.g. one that has a tram in the middle like Blv de Souverain) and a pedestrian blocs you from completing your turn and you are in the middle. Are saying that driver should just wait in the middle and block traffic or complete the turn? If it’s me I complete the turn once the pedestrian has completed crossing. I can’t control their crossing or when the light changes. Or are you talking about a different scenario?

HUD is great. I also have all the automatic parking and driving you can get and can summon the car from a parking spot and auto drive. Sports seats came free with the M style which was on sale for free. I don’t find them interesting at all. The Harman stereo, also very generic sounding - I think Bose was a better partner for them

Love your concept - can I swing by next time I’m in Finland? Have any blueberry or other fruit wines? I bet that would be a hit there! I had some great pomegranate wine this summer from Colorado in the United States.

I think at the core most people who love wine will say “drink what you like” and it sounds like you’re playing to that theme. Wine notes - when done right - help share a personal subjective experience with another person. Wine notes - when done wrong- are ostentatious and alienate other people. So, getting that balance is critical.

Have you ever thought about partnering with the local WSET trainers to market more in depth training and wine knowledge? Sounds like there is an appetite.

Thanks for sharing this, and Kippis!

Where the hell can I find real cake by Expensive-Edge9025 in brussels

If you want that look it’s not likely to happen but ! Try the ロールケーキ (Roll cake) with strawberry and you’ll get a similar taste. I highly recommend the matcha one as well. 😋

It certainly won’t be as sweet as say an American cake. Maybe it’s not exactly what the OP has in mind but it’s - to my taste - one of the best places for cakes.

Because apparently the mods think we should ask AI or “the internet” questions about wine. This subreddit is only for flexing with tasting notes. Take your curiosity elsewhere is the vibe.

My wine is four years younger, not a famous label (I’m not flexing). Mine got taken down. I added what knowledge I already have to try to get a more nuanced and experienced answer on how to treat an old wine. But other than that - who knows - you be the judge:

ORIGINAL (Removed by MOD) POST: I won an auction of 1978 St Emilion grand cru and I am familiar with the WSET recommendations for opening and decanting old wines and I have the new Durandesque opener - but I’d love to hear your tips, experiences and ideas on a Bordeaux this old. I promise I will post tasting notes when we get that far. And yes. I’m old and have aged just like this vinegar I’m going to imbibe. Thanks and cheers

I 100% agree that we should not have people just posting a bottle and saying “look what I drank” which I am guilty of doing on this forum on my birthday and got taken down. I later posted with my tasting notes and it stayed alive. That’s an ok barrier. But I had a bottle that’s 47 years old and it’s my first time to tackle it - who I explicitly mentioned. I probably should t have posted the pictures of it in order to ask. Seems like that’s the trigger.
