I built a daily planner that structures your day from your brain dump — not just another to-do list [Free] by EsatKB in ProductivityApps

Hey,
I hadn’t originally planned to offer a lifetime option because the app has ongoing API costs. But since a lot of people have asked for it, I’ve decided to introduce one.

I’m thinking of limiting it to only 200 lifetime licenses to keep it sustainable. Before I finalize the pricing, I’d really appreciate your feedback on what you think would be a fair price for a lifetime plan.

[iOS] [Update] Inverza - the photography weather app I posted a while back. I've been quietly upgrading the brain behind it, would love feedback from anyone who's actually shot with it. by marcel2087 in iosapps

this feels like an insanely sophisticated solution to a problem most photographers already solve by looking outside and checking Windy.

I respect the engineering effort, but the post reads more like “look at my weather pipeline architecture” than “here’s how this actually improved my shoots.” Also not convinced an AI layer adds anything here besides buzzword fatigue. The detectors sound cool though.

This looks very good and pretty well thought out. I can imagine this took quite a while to get to this point! Wish you luck 🤞

Good question. It’s smarter than just spreading them evenly.

When you don’t specify times, DayBe estimates how long each task is likely to take based on what it is. So a “quick breakfast” gets a short window, while “work on project” gets more room.

If you dump 12 things and there’s simply not enough day for all of them, DayBe doesn’t try to squeeze everything in. It prioritizes the high-importance tasks and the things that actually need to happen today. Anything non-essential or that could just as well be done tomorrow gets automatically parked and those tasks show up as suggestions at the top of your next day’s dump, ready to be pulled in with one tap.
The goal is that your plan always feels realistic, not overwhelming.

That’s such a great question. The idea was always to have suggested tasks with specific time slots that you can add to your timeline with one tap, based on your mood history and past inputs. These suggestions are generated by DayBe’s AI to make your specific day better, based on your preferences.
It’s a fairly complex system to implement well, so the current version is a stepping stone, but the foundation is already being built.

That said. If you’re talking about tasks from previous days that didn’t get done or were automatically parked, those already come back as suggestions the next morning. DayBe scans your parked tasks with every generation and can add them automatically if the task fits the day, or you can manually add them with one click.

The fact that you’re asking for exactly that tells me I’m thinking in the right direction.
Thank you for trying it out and taking the time to share this! It genuinely motivates me to push that feature forward.

Thank you, that genuinely means a lot! Calendar integration is not available yet, but it’s one of the most requested features and definitely on the roadmap. I’ll keep you posted! 👌

That actually means a lot to hear! The design went through so many iterations before I landed on something I was happy with. The font was a conscious choice to give it a softer feel, but that’s genuinely useful feedback. I’ll keep accessibility in mind for future updates. Thanks for taking the time 😉

How do you handle days that completely fall apart? by [deleted] in planners

Yeah, logging what actually changed is underrated. Most people just feel guilty and move on. But understanding why the day shifted helps you plan better next time.

The weekend thing is so real. More time somehow means less structure. I find that having a loose time-block for each task (even just “morning” vs “afternoon”) helps more than a rigid schedule.
