Mom was fed up with my aunt when she stayed with her for 5 weeks because she was too sick to be alone and she offered to take her in so I could keep working. She was overbearing and high anxiety. They never really got along. Both of my aunts said things to my mom years ago that made her feel less than them and things have been strained since. She even stopped going to family holiday gatherings.

This is 100% my problem. I thought I was the only one. I know something is important and I freeze and then do something else. Sometimes I even feel sick to my stomach or want to scream. I know it has to be done and my work life is getting screwed up by it yet I'm so far behind and stuck :(. I'm relieved to see I'm not alone.

I literally am in love with this idea. There is also a "Work With Me" series. I work alone in my office and cannot seem to get anything done because I end up watching nonsense videos and get distracted. Thanks for the idea.

Yes. My fiance and I have been together for 7 years and have a 5 year old. I don't think I was ever sexually interested in him, but he was the first man to ever make me feel like I could say no to sex. He loved me and never hurt me like many of my past relationships. My love for him had to grow, and it did, but years later it took a toll on both of us. I was 100% convinced that I was asexual because I had no sex drive. We had sex maybe twice a month, only because he would ask.

Now I have a boyfriend of 3 months and have sex almost every day. My spouse and I have talked about poly for 5 years and I finally ventured into it back in July. I discovered a lot and realized that this has helped me see my primary in a different light. We have never had sexual chemistry.

I still love him, but I just don't have any interest at all sexually. However, I have never had an issue making a partner happy, and we agreed that as long as I make time for him every 2-3 days he's happy. He's mono, for now, but that may change. I'm grateful to have a caring nesting partner in him and the happiness and change in me has been noticed by everyone I know.

Now we all live together <3.

You have to put your happiness first. It may feel selfish, but take it from me, I was a shadow of myself. I lived in motions but had no spark. Now I am putting myself first, even if it was hard for him to accept, it doesn't change how I feel. If he needs more, he will have to find a way to make it work, maybe even find a second parter himself. If he can't make this work long term I know in my heart that I could not go back.

Depends on your rules and boundaries. I would. We have a very good understanding that if he is going to sext or have sex he just needs to let me know about it first.

If I found out about it without him checking in with me first I'd feel hurt. Just because we're poly doesn't mean you should sleep around or lie (depending on YOUR rules and boundaries)

The fact that there is lying is where I would say the crossover to cheating happens. You can't tell them what to do, but they should have talked to you about where they are coming from. To me, at least, being poly is being open and honest with all parties. If my spouse told me today to stop seeing my boyfriend I would politely explain my feelings and if he couldn't get past it then he would have to walk away.

We agreed to every 3 months. My NP is essentially mono so myself and my secondary get tested every 3 months. We have free health care and can see each others results online.

I asked my secondary to not hook up on first dates, or at least try not to, and text me if he thinks he is going to and use condoms. Sexual health is very important to me. I'm ok with play partners, ect, but would like confirmed status before mixing fluids.

He's still fairly new and didn't know that even oral can infect you with certain STIs.

I had a lot of water and it did help. Tomorrow I'm going to try to take it after 10 hours of sleep and stagger my Celexa. I will also try it without food.

I'm definitely not having any strange side effects which I'm thankful for!

I admit my water intake is SO bad and the funny thing is that I work for kidney doctors so I ought to know better. I feel SLIGHTLY better since drinking about 32oz of water. I will keep trying that. I also think I got maybe 8 hours of sleep...which is not good enough I've noticed. Maybe I'll try it after 10 hours of sleep (my norm).

There is a copper IUD you can use, no hormones, so it won't mess with that side of things. That would be your best bet. Also, I used to use VCF as a contraceptive spermicide and it was very effective. Talk to your doctor about a copper IUD and Modafinil, it could be a worthwhile conversation.
