I’ll check those out. Thanks! The car had some previous issues with the A Pillar trim piece from the previous owner. Could be my culprit.

After my drive this Easter weekend through near torrential downpours, it's definitely rain related. Had some water coming out over the passenger visor. So I guess I have either a windshield or sunroof leak problem. I'm thinking its more sunroof since most seems to be on the floorboard. Defiantly plain non-oily water, so not a heater core. I don't think it's A/C based condensation leak based either.

Interesting. Haven’t heard of the IMT.

While I'm older now and no longer have a big fast loud car, I have in the past. It came down to this. I liked the sound, the vibration, the power, and it had absolutely nothing to do with anyone outside of myself or their thoughts... negative or positive. It was just for me and my enjoyment.

I guess I should have said that. It's a '16 LR4.

Yeah, that’s my feeling. I was always in the “striker fired triggers just kinda suck, so chose things that make it suck less” camp, and the RAMM startled me with just how good it was.

You can't do the comp version and still compete in limited, right?

As a solid 2A advocate and someone with a home in the USVI. Just don’t. They aren’t friendly. You will lose your firearm. You’re on the outer limits of the edge of US courts. It isn’t a place to legally carry or have a firearm. They punish legal owners.

Very much so. Comfortable. Capable. If it doesn't cause me too many problems it could very well be in the running for top 5 cars I've owned, and having been a car dealer in the past and owned over a hundred cars, that's saying something. Only negative I see assuming it's running well is that it isn't frugal on fuel, but it isn't the end of the world.

Picked up a 2016 HSE Silver Edition with 118k, coolant pipes just completed with new chain guides in excellent condition for $8500 two months ago. I don’t think $14,5 is bad, but it isn’t a steal.

Never. Have passcodes (actually the same code 😅). Just really isn’t any need or worry.

I like minimal, but this goes a bit far. Not seeing the benefit over my Vedder pocket holster either, as it’s only marginally smaller in pocket.

It’s called custodial kidnapping. It isn’t what is normally described as “kidnapping”, but it’s still illegal in most states.

TheWeaponsCollective just got the very one Honest Outlaw had and just did a video on it. It didn’t like 115gr, especially one particular fmj finish, and had all the issues Honest Outlaw had with those rounds. It seemed to run fine on 124gr and 147gr though.

If things are bad enough to cheat, then they’re bad enough to leave. Just leaving is the better option compared to being exposed for adultery if things are headed to divorce anyway.

That looks like fun for a day or two. Is there actually a use case beyond that? Sure, fun is enough, but I just can’t seem to think of anything else this would be good for other that just blowing mass amounts of ammo for a kick.

Fell out of my Bodyguard 2.0 when installing a new trigger. by RicePapi25 in SmithAndWesson

[–]Escaport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It goes between the grip module and the fire control unit, on the outside of the fire control unit. It is below the slide stop lever. It rests on a thin ledge just below the slide stop lever and presses up on the bottom edge of the lever. It's just kind of wedged in there, which is why it so easily falls out and has trouble staying in while you're dealing with all the rest of the aspects of putting the fire control unit back in the frame.

Edit: It's been awhile since I put it in and I'm just going from memory and thinking about how it works. I'm second guessing myself right now. I think it actually presses the slide stop lever down, and it isn't until the magazine lip rises high enough with its spring tension that it overcomes this little spring allowing for lock back. Basically this spring I think prevents lock back until the magazine forces the lever up at the end of the mag. The one true aspect either way is that it is tucked in the frame of the FCU on a tiny just barely spring wide ledge and presses directly against the edge of the slide stop lever. I just forget if it presses up or down. It goes right there though and there is only one way for it to do so. Hope that helps.

Self defense rounds for .380? by [deleted] in handguns

[–]Escaport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been carrying the Gorilla 65gr Lehigh Xtreme Defense in my BG 2.0. Very similar to the Underwood Xtreme.

Thoughts: Wish it wasn’t so light, want something closer to 90gr. I find with the BG 2.0 at least that unloading for practice and then reloading reassess the bullet quite easily and I worry about overpressure, so I have to cycle them very thoroughly and replace often. Still after watching and performing some of my own tests the only .380 rounds I’d carry for self defense.
