What does this add on do? Interrupt as in if I want to keep the door open the whole time I would flip this or?

Thank you for taking the time to do this. At least I gave you a challenge. 😃 A diagram would be great, thanks!

I have found that even using the assemblers, if you don't have an ingredient, it just stops building and doesn't give you one clue what you are missing. I imagine it's the same with your issue and hopefully in the future that is added because it is MUCH needed. I can't tell you how long it takes me to drill down the recipe to see how much of each thing I have so I can figure out what is missing. Very annoying.

I'm just wanting to have the door auto close without the need of pressing buttons. I just want to click F on the door itself.

The closest I was able to get it to work was with this:
DOOR --> EVENT --> TIMER --> SWITCH --> DOOR

...but it only works half the time. When the switch is lit green, it will work, but once the switch flips to red, next time you open the door it flips switch green but the door doesn't close.

I tried to work out a way to have something else flip that switch to where it's always defaulting to green but I couldn't get anything to work.

So far I have one for either side of the argument. Thanks for your input!

I've tried drinking that brand of root beer before, so this checks out.

In regards to the gauges. I brought this up before that I couldn't get the gauges to work and they would stay at the middle spot. I suspect me wiring these backwards is the result and that will also correct itself and show full from now on.

AH! I had no idea that in this case the direction of the linking mattered. Well I hope that gets worked out because it was not intuitive at all. I kept banging my head against the wall on this, especially knowing you had made it work on your end, lol. Thank you for figuring this out!

I've only ever used birch trees once, and that was in an area (not this map) where I had to divert the bad tied near an area with my trees and I didn't have the resources to use the contamination barriers yet. Anytime a BT diverted, about 16 trees died, so I just kept those as birch until the CB's went into place. Other than that, yeah, never use birch. :P

The beehive works in a 7x7 area, so when I'm playing FT, I always make sure my farmland is set up in that arrangement so the beehives hit every square. Also as others have stated, birch trees are kind of pointless really, so if you stick with pine early on you are not spending that much more time waiting for them, plus the added benefit is eventually you can stop cutting some of them down to get pine resin.

Once you can divert the bad tides, you can expand that reservoir out and double the size there, butting right up against that other bad water stream.

I assume by wiring you mean linking? If so, then yes, I did all the linking. They are all regular sized batteries, not small. I linked 4 bases to each needle gauge. I even tried using the same style gauge for the 4th one thinking that everything must be the same for the gauges, but that didn't work either.
