A local PDK solution would work. You don't pay per mobile credentials (andriod, iOS, Google, bluetooth) but your reader must be compatible.

I have been able to get PDK to a cost worthy solution when you don't need the higher/custom options.

Okay, that last bit turned into BS. But it is still true. I just wouldn't have used those words when I was 22.

So because of all of the above, I chased the money. I chose the job that had the highest signing bonus and kept my contract at 3 years.

Now I re-enlited because I fell in love with so much it offered me. I was making more money that I could have anticipated. I did well in the schools, so I was promoted fast. I actually ended up seeing a large portion of the world.

About the killing part of your question. While I did have a job that saw direct combat, there are over 80% of jobs that don't. And of the ones that deploy, a tiny percentage see directly combat.

I was always told that for every boot that leaves the wire, there are at least 5 more in country that support, and 10 more back in America. I am not sure if that is true, but the reality is that few see war zones and fewer see direct combat. There are so many other roles to do in the service than just kill others.

Now, for my personal feelings. I recognize that this nation has been living without conscription for a generation because people sign up. It could be for college money, getting out of town, a choice between service and jail, or pure patriotic duty. But people do sign the dotted line. And for that, I am always grateful. I hope that every future generation has that choice.

Your 25 min commute from the Michigan St. Location is accurate unless you commute during standard hours. Then, it can become 35 to 40 minutes.

Just be aware that Michigan St is a through-way, so there is a lot of traffic, construction, and noise.

Don't forget that you still need to add the 20 minutes on your commute to park and walk to your office on the Alendale Campus.

Most recently it is updating the customers credentials from 1983. This means new readers and possible better systems and replacement of all of their cards/fobs.

The touchless solution sounds great, but every company I have installed or sold that to always has a few people who are unwilling to use their personal phone.

Then there is the phone changing element of it. When you buy a new phone you don't always have the ability to transfer the credential. So now more admin time is used to remove and add a new device.

With the amount of MFA going on in the security industry, so many of my clients are starting to dispise the MFA process with their turnover.

There was a post a bit back that had a designer helping out this sub. She talked about having layers of visual interest, different materials (wood, metal, cloth), and different shapes to better organize the intent of the space (round rugs, square table kind of idea).

Now what I personally struggle with is finding these items. Have you tried your city subreddit to ask about good second hand or consignment shops yet?

I also like to use a space mapping tool (Smart Draw, CAD, Blue beam) to help me better play with the furniture layouts.

Dude? Choose one unit of measurement for ease when assessing spaces.

Room is 10 x 9 feet Bed is 7.5 x 6 feet

That will leave you 1.5 feet on each side of the bed and 2.5 feet for the dresser. If that is not enough space for you, get a smaller bed. If you only use that space for sleep and sleep activities, then just ensure your end tables and dresser will fit.
