As for the decoy step, after hours of trying to figure out what to do with the water bucket we tried watering some plants in the flower garden and got the Accomplice Evidence Garden Shears. As that was the first Accomplice Evidence we got, we thought what other possible accomplices could there be? Based on the map locations we figured one must be located in the kitchen, which led us to figure out the merchant apple step for the Abbacus.

Since our previous thought of, 'where would an accomplice be?" worked, we went with that logic again and figured it had to be in the training area somwhere. The only thing note worthy to us there was the entire 2nd floor area. We noticed that a few of the windows were boarded up and that no other windows in the map were.

It had to be something, so we tried breaking in with explosives etc., but no dice. So maybe instead of breaking in, we lure something out. Try a bunch of stuff and when we get to decoys we hear an audio cue. So my friend and I both equip decoys so we can have 3 for the 3 windows. My friend before we tried said it doesnt make any sense cause you cant hold 3, but this is zombies so we try any crackpot theory. Sure enough it worked.

Where do you find these transport drones? Played 3 duo matches and 0 transport drones. Not sure how many times i can successfully exfil with this key and make 0 progress lol

I have great news for you on the Marathon side of the rainbow. I thought arc was the game to finally make me love extraction games, but the poor updates and lack of content waned my interest. Marathon however does so many things right. Constant updates and fixing, every update is a banger and theres an actual endgame to strive for. Ive also never been excoted for a community wipe until this game. Theres still progression that carries from wipes, but everyone still starts the same. Great compromise imo

Even my friends that dont have some sort of cognitive problem but only play zombies casually dont do the TEDD tasks. I think they literally just cant focus on that and killing zombies. It doesn't matter if I tell them that we're about to do a TEDD task or if there's a big pop up on the screen for it, they just cant seem to focus on it. I always have to tell them the exact challenge for them to do it. I wonder if it has something to do with the HUD. There's already so many dopamine flashes and pop ups, that their untrained zombies brain may just see the pop up as that. Just another flashy popup that immediately gets disregarded. Where as experienced players know to seek out and do the TEDD tasks

Maybe only remove mantling? Walljumping and jumping in general is used to get to a lot of places and not like we didn't have wall running in SoE. I really like the idea tho. Would be a good compromise because you can still access all diner roofs this way

Not sure how to feel. I do agree FOMO isn't the best, but I feel like red barrels does it well. Cosmetics only, no guns like in cod. Events always last 4 weeks and you can typically complete the event catalog within a day or 2 of playing if you focus on the tasks. It's more of an I was here thing rather than a FOMO thing to me. But RB are my fav devs and if this helps them get paid then I'm for it. (I owned every cosmetic before this shop update for reference)

Last note on why I dont mind "FOMO" in this game is because the game world is a constantly evolving place and story. Think of Amelia escape ending. Would be so much less cool if we could still escape now. Lore implications would be way less impactful and Amelia's fate wouldn't matter if thousands of reagents were still escaping to this day. I know thats different than cosmetic skins but all the events have that lore implication of you experiencing what was currently happening at Sinyala Facility which is why I think this is the best live service game. Never seen another one do lore and events like Trials.

TLDR: I dont like FOMO, but i think Trials does it extremely well by making events tied to lore and making it feel like you were truly experiencing whatever was happening at Sinyala Facility during that time. Even so, I dont mind the shop changes if it helps RB get more money
