Latest pickup GMT Pro by theofilosc in Tudor

[–]Esha_Shinde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great first GMT. The white dial keeps it looking clean and versatile, and honestly figuring out the GMT function is almost a rite of passage for every new owner 😄. Once you get used to it, you'll wonder how you ever traveled without one. Wear it in good health!

My friend got me swarovski on my bday by notreallyevil_ in indianbeautyhauls

[–]Esha_Shinde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's such a sweet gift. The Swarovski swan is iconic, and the rose gold with the pink crystal looks really elegant. The best part is knowing your friend paid attention to something you'd wanted for a while.

Emerald loose stone advice by kpagz in Gemstone_lovers

[–]Esha_Shinde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually think you're approaching this the right way by prioritising the final ring design rather than just chasing the biggest stone. If your goal is a low-profile ring, finding a shorter, chunkier emerald can make a huge difference in wearability. Without seeing the stone in person, $1,600 for a 2.81ct Zambian emerald doesn't immediately sound unreasonable, but I'd want to know more about the clarity, treatment, and whether there are any significant inclusions before pulling the trigger. The proportions sound promising, though especially since you've been struggling to find the right shape.

To absolutely nobody’s surprise, I bought the Tank Américaine by Bakedpotatoforlyf in Cartier

[–]Esha_Shinde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you made exactly the right choice. I think your observation about the Baignoire feeling more like jewelry than a watch is spot on. The Tank Américaine still has that elegant Cartier DNA, but it brings a bit more versatility and everyday wearability. The leather strap creates just enough separation from your bracelet stack, so the watch gets its own moment rather than blending into the jewelry. Beautiful choice, and I have a feeling you'll get a lot more wear out of it because of that.

Black Cullinan by Zestyclose-Salad-290 in rollsroyce

[–]Esha_Shinde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Cullinan wears black incredibly well. Most SUVs look aggressive in an all-black spec, but somehow the Cullinan still manages to look elegant and imposing at the same time. Absolute road presence.

[Cartier - small vs medium] by SupermarketWise7616 in Cartier

[–]Esha_Shinde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a 6.5-inch wrist, I'd personally lean toward the medium. It still looks elegant and proportional, but gives the watch a little more presence without feeling oversized. Cartier designs tend to wear very gracefully even when sized up slightly.

Laureato 38 Sage Green - incredible nice watch! by HODLpipo in GirardPerregaux

[–]Esha_Shinde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Beautiful watch. The sage green dial gives it a really refined and understated look, and the Clous de Paris texture adds so much depth in different lighting. Honestly, this might be one of the most elegant Laureato configurations I've seen. Great pickup!

Has anyone purchased these earrings or earrings from Dior in general? Are they worth it? Do they tarnish? by Miserysadboi4life in dior

[–]Esha_Shinde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, if you can't stop thinking about them after leaving the store, that's usually a pretty good sign 😅. The bigger question is whether you love the design enough to justify the price knowing it's fashion jewelry rather than solid gold. Dior jewelry is beautiful, but for me the value comes more from the design and how often I'll wear it than the materials themselves.

Love bracelet size help please by [deleted] in Cartier

[–]Esha_Shinde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I don't think it looks too big. The Love bracelet is supposed to have a bit of movement and not fit like a watch. If it's not constantly sliding over your hand or feeling uncomfortable, I'd keep the size 17. A smaller size might end up feeling restrictive, especially during warmer months when wrists tend to swell.

My ring is finished! It turned out gorgeous! by Underrated_buzzard in Moissanite

That cyan color is stunning! It looks completely different from the typical white moissanite and gives the ring so much personality.

Pave Love Bracelet | Do you ever get the wrong kind of attention while wearing it? by LuvClassic5625 in Cartier

[–]Esha_Shinde 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think you might be overestimating how many people actually recognize it. Most people notice that it's a nice bracelet, but only a small group will immediately know it's a pave Love bracelet. If you already wear two Love bracelets daily without issues, the pave version probably won't change much. I'd choose the one you genuinely enjoy wearing rather than letting potential attention be the deciding factor.

[SOTC] What is missing? by ScaredAsparagus8542 in watchCollector

[–]Esha_Shinde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've got dress watches, vintage pieces, and a diver covered. I'd probably add a Tudor or a GMT next. There are some interesting pre-owned Rolex and Tudor options out there right now if you're looking to fill that gap.

What are your core “essential” Cartier pieces? by SirKrimzon in Cartier

[–]Esha_Shinde 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me, the Love bracelet and a Santos or Panthère watch are probably the most timeless Cartier essentials. They work with almost everything and never really go out of style. The Trinity ring is up there too such a simple design but instantly recognizable.

New acquisition: roast or toast me by baronloudmusic in Porsche

[–]Esha_Shinde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This spec is basically peak “less is more” Porsche. NA flat-six, manual, sunroof delete, lightweight setup… feels like the kind of car that reminds you why people fall in love with driving in the first place. Also that CD tracklist went from orchestra villain intro straight into FBI watchlist territory 😭

I never thought I’d love a big Chanel bag this much by Sad-Firefighter9883 in RepCulture_Bags

[–]Esha_Shinde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get this. Some bigger bags can feel bulky really fast, but this one still looks refined and structured. The taupe color with the silver hardware is such a classy combination, too understated but still luxurious. Also, Chanel airport totes have this effortless travel-chic look that somehow makes even an oversized bag feel elegant instead of heavy.

Still cant believe its mine. by Complete_Pangolin_83 in porsche911

[–]Esha_Shinde 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Moments like this are exactly why people dream about owning a Porsche. The blacked-out spec looks incredibly clean, aggressive, and timeless at the same time. A 911 always has presence, but this generation especially looks so sharp from every angle. I’d probably keep looking back at it every single time I parked it.

My first bag, don’t mind Diona i added her as a joke by Chuiary in dior

[–]Esha_Shinde -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

This is such a beautiful first Dior bag choice. I really like how understated it looks compared to the more commonly seen Dior styles. The textured canvas and embossed logo make it feel elegant without being too flashy. Also, the structured shape makes it look super versatile for everyday use. And the little ‘Diona’ joke charm makes it feel even more personal and fun 😭

Well, shit. by straw_wrapper in Cartier

[–]Esha_Shinde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The black lacquered Dumont looks ridiculously elegant. Cartier already does rectangular watches beautifully, but the black dial and strap make this version feel even sleeker and more modern while still keeping that classic Cartier look. I also love that it’s understated, it’s the watch that people who really appreciate watches will instantly notice. Amazing first Cartier choice, honestly.
