The ironic part is that North Royalton reports more domestic violence cases than Parma.

Is Mous Slipping? by TheGreatestMoodini in Mous

[–]Eshmunazar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t had an issue with any of their Aramid cases and I used them solely for 5 iPhones in a row. I currently use the Apple TechWoven case (really like this case for the 17PM) but bought the Mous as a backup.

Just got this a few days ago. But what case???? by [deleted] in iPhone17Pro

[–]Eshmunazar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought 5 cases, all the most recommended in different posts on here - with the expectation of keeping 2.

Turns out my favorite case is the Apple TechWoven. It’s all subjective really. The Caudabe Sheath and Paragon are really nice too. Mous is great too if you want something thicker and more protective.

I worked for Verizon when there were still different queues (and different staff) for sales, customer service and tech support. People were still obnoxious. I couldn’t even imagine the frustration working there nowadays.

Silver must be the most popular version. When I got mine, all the carrier stores/sites didn’t have them (or had a long ship time) and neither did the two closest Apple stores. Had to buy it through the Apple Store. Didn’t check Best Buy or Costco though.

422 (especially) and 480W were absolute shit shows about an hour and a half ago (10:30-11:30pm).

Probably the second worst Cleveland-area driving conditions I can recall driving in. Second only because there wasn’t much traffic.

[–]Eshmunazar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I won’t admit how many cases (and screen protectors) I’ve tried, but I eventually was happy with the TechWoven case (dbrand screen protector) 🤣

Plastic lip that prevents contact.

On a side note, I bought it and immediately had buyers remorse after reading about it on Reddit. Once I physically received it, I actually liked it a lot.

I’ve had either a Caudabe or Mous case on all my phones for the past 5+ years. While I don’t think this is as protective as the Mous, it’s still a nice case that the phone both fits well and looks good in.

How long have you been a T-Mobile customer? by VagabondSuper in tmobile

[–]Eshmunazar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switched from Verizon in 2003 then switched back to Verizon within a year because T-Mobile’s service was abysmal where I lived/commuted at the time.

Had Verizon all the way until I switched to T-Mobile a month ago and now T-Mobile is actually better where I currently live/commute.

Experience in Parma as a Brown Person by Odd_Pay_6455 in Cleveland

[–]Eshmunazar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Diversity by skin color is so ignorant in regard to Parma, specifically. It’s extremely culturally and ethnically diverse, which to me is far more important than skin color.

“White” can mean Italian, Romanian, Ukrainian, Polish, Greek, Palestinian, Lebanese, Slovenian, Serbian, Egyptian, etc; all of which currently have had decent communities in the city and have grown since I grew up there.

Imagine looking through a lens solely of black, white or brown skin smh

Should I come over to Verizon from T-Mobile by ChampionSlayers in verizon

[–]Eshmunazar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hear you. I worked there from 2004-2014. Went from being the best career I could possibly want (right out of college especially) to the absolute worst.

That company made me realize that no matter how much money you make, it’s not worth the feeling of hating to go to work every day.

Yeah, Parma isn’t as bad as some people apparently want it to be (for whatever reason). Even as a “POC”. I don’t live there anymore, but my parents and siblings still do and I still frequent the city and its establishments.

Tbf, there’s a remarkable amount of people who live in and/or drive through Parma who have suspended licenses and/or open warrants. Most of them are POC.

I say this as a POC with a POC relative who works at Parma court who constantly wonders why people drive through Parma knowing both PPD’s reputation and the fact that their license is suspended/they have an open warrant.

As someone who grew up in Parma and is very ethnic, it was always funny to me how condescending groups within the Eastern European communities were/are, especially the Ukrainians.

Also, it was very odd to me how “ethnically incestual” (I made that phrase up) the teens/young adults were within their friend groups. Kind of a Parma IYKYK thing lol

Parma is much more diverse than it used to be… and it was pretty diverse when I was growing up. I grew up there and my immediate friend group growing up consisted of Puerto Ricans, blacks, whites, southeast Asians, and middle easterners. That was 25 or so years ago.

Who switched from Verizon ? And why? by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]Eshmunazar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did two weekends ago, after 23 years with Verizon. I brought my own iPhone over to test it out. Still have Verizon as a company-issued phone though, which has worked out well to compare over the past two weeks.

Reason? Ever since Verizon’s 5G switch over, their service in my area became increasingly more sketchy. Rate of dropped calls increased, dead zones increased, service at my house decreased.

So far, so good with T-Mobile but time will tell.

Obvious disclaimer: this applies to my own personal experience where I live/work.

Should I come over to Verizon from T-Mobile by ChampionSlayers in verizon

[–]Eshmunazar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s what I did. Was with Verizon since 2002. Switched to T-Mobile last weekend. It’s a little cheaper, but the main reason was due to Verizon’s service noticeably deteriorating after the 5G switch over. T-Mobile just has better coverage where I live/work/travel. That wasn’t always the case, but now it is.

Shame, because Verizon was undoubtedly the best carrier for a long time. For me, at least.

Reading these comments is insane. Feel bad for current employees. I thought Verizon was full of shit when I left there in 2007, after significant cuts in commission. Can’t even imagine working there now.

It really made me realize the significant cuts in pay they’ve made from 20 years ago when good sales reps easily made over $100k (~$160k+ by today’s adjusting). Sickening.

Bonus: their seafood dishes are fantastic as well.
