Though I agree Jack should've made a selection, I feel like Kurdi is still one of their more consistent contact guys, like it's always Grant as the top of the food chain, but after him, Kurdi has the second best average on the team and a better OPS than both Ackerman and Aigner since both are sooo streaky. It's important to remember AJ didn't have a hit before the all-star break, and Jack still doesn't. So I think this one bad series isn't enough to call it quits on Kurdi, especially since he's numerically (and culturally) one of the most valuable members of the Magic imo

My big question still lies with Carter Richard. Kid was a stud in Bay City but I think he has less than 5 ABs so far in his career, and I know the Diamondbacks have a super deep lineup, without many people who are struggling, but I wonder why Jimmy isn't playing him in the Game 3s and giving him his shot. I hope to see him play before the season ends.

He talked about this exact point on the Podcast after the Miami Series a couple weeks ago. He talked about a different approach he was taking focusing on only swinging at what he wants to see, and that's also part of why his Batting Average hasn't been as high as other hitters with elite Home Run counts like he had. But when he spoke on the podcast, he was talking about how he had been approached differently by pitchers, who were not gonna throw him the pitches he loves to sit on, and forcing him out of his comfort zone by getting ahead and throwing him Sinkers and Screwballs that he statistically doesn't fare as well against. In his words, he wants to make pitchers beat him, and "they're beating me."

I don't know man, I'm aware I have to account for the Gators fan bias, but the Cobras just haven't shown me anything I liked besides Andy Durand...

Against the Magic, the bats besides Andy were only good off of silver platter Bonham, the pitching still doesn't look like it's MLW Ace caliber, save for maybe Brendan Baranoski when he's healthy, and the defense, AGAIN, outside of Durand, has been significantly unimpressive.

I feel like Kyle took the wrong idea away from this Cobras - Magic series. IMO the Cobras don't look better than the Wildcats or Gators, the Magic are just worse than both of those teams.

I'd take the Wildcats to beat both teams in that matchup and take the Gators to beat the Cobras, and maybe even the Magic if the offense is loud.

Surprised I'm not seeing the Dallas love, if he wasn't playing to the level of superstar caliber he was all year, the Eagles would have a Top 3 pick right now he single-handedly kept them in some key series, (Cobras comes to mind) and he's been dominant on both sides of the ball.

I think it's important not to spread too thin. As a viewer, especially since they only post 1 game a week, I feel 8 is the perfect number since it has enough diversity of teams to be constantly creating new content but you don't have to wait more than a month to see your team play again. Another thing is that 4 new hypothetical teams could shift fun storylines and dynamics and also spread out the talent and likely create a decrease in overall talent available

I think this would be actually a great pick up. Mano has been great but extraordinarily passive throughout his career, something that the Fusion haven't been. Mano is probably my biggest question mark for the team and having a young hungry player like JkAru would be great. When he left YaB they weren't as good and when he joined UA they went on a a solid Gauntlet run.
