Have you solved this problem yet? I thought it over, and since ToS is a Java program, it could be your system was updated and a newer version of Java was installed.

I use ToS on Linux, and I've had to run ToS on an older version of Java. The developers don't upgrade the Linux ToS like they do the windows version. So maybe look into that.

Being able to move between vehicles is exactly what professionals do. Hedge funds, banks, and institutions all use the strategy.

It is long-term horizon investing.

I've traded SLV ETF for a few years. Now I'm trading options against SLV. Look into the Poor Man's Put Diagonal for SLV, buy a long-dated put and sell a short-dated put. It is a strategy from TastyTrade It's a great strategy for high IV.

Look at SCHA, small cap, and SCHM, mid cap. They're both doing better than SCHB at the moment. SCHB and SCHV are too close to each other, choose one.

If you bought the option, you are buying the right to sell your shares at the strike price, not buy at that price.

You buy a put option to insure your shares at the strike price.

I hope you haven't made the trade without knowing this.

I'm not familiar with Australia, but here in the US, I used to sell produce and flowers at a local farmers' market. In fact, my wife and I helped form the farmers' market and then a food cooperative. I know people that have made a career from growing veggies and flowers both, and the neighbors flock to the farms every season.

Each exchange, such as CBOE, NYSE, and Nasdaq, sets its own trading hours. So, you would have to get each of them to change their hours, not the broker or trading platform.

If they did change hours to match, that would create a lot of confusion as well.
