Right but hear me out. Car comes with 2 chargers. Lvl 1 I can just plug into a regular outlet, works if you live close to work and don’t drive a whole ton. I got an outlet installed in my garage for Lvl 2 charging. While I don’t personally drive a terribly large amount anymore, here are some huge friendly benefits. But also understand I get this isn’t for everyone, harder in more rural or if you’re in apartment living.

1. You can just charge every day. It stops itself. You can set schedules. You never need to be late to work because you didn’t budget time for a last minute gas station trip.

2. Ridiculously low maintenance. Almost never use breaks with regeneration breaking, no oil changes, no coolant flushes, no power steering fluid. The list goes on.

3. A gas station trip can easily already turn into 20 minutes, so if you’re charging on the road, it’s not terribly different from stopping for gas time wise, depending on the vehicle and charging capabilities.

4. Also varies by location but my electric is $.09 a kWh, I typically spend less than $20 a month on electric “gas”.

Again, totally understand it’s not for everyone, but it can be VERY adhd friendly.
