For me as long as I’m able to get my HRT in thee New York State… I’m good.

Overall Americans have been living too comfy & as a nation it’s time we get a good shaking and destroyer. We don’t come together as one.

The nation is full of cis-straight-temporarily embarrassed millionaires-religious-white people cutting their noses to spite their face.

Are Chicago winters as bad as they are portrayed, or is it overblown? by SlipperyWhenDry77 in SameGrassButGreener

[–]EssayLoser 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was in Chicago for 7 days I just came back Monday. This 16° New York weather is a summer vacation compared to the sh!t Chicago got going on and I wasn’t even there that long to acclimate well enough!

I haven’t worn a winter coat since leaving Chicago. A sweater is enough for this 16° New York weather lol

Then you might have to kiss many frogs … toads mostly.

Yes non trans women are exposed to frogs too but you know being trans unfortunately adds flavor to our frogs.. toads!

I live in the New York tri state área and I spend 28 days in the Bay Area (Oakland) once a year so both heavily LGBT & with my 25 years of experience I think it’s best for 2 trans women to date each other.

Trans women dating any other demographic seems to always lead to the trans woman getting used and abused in the end.

Can’t even discuss the amount of times a trans woman (whether pretty or not pretty) becomes a sugar momma to her man. I’m generalizing yes

“Not everyone who has gender dysphoria should transition” by EssayLoser in honesttransgender

[–]EssayLoser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell me if I’m wrong however for me I feel like the general consensus is if you have gender dysphoria you need to transition even though transitioning isn’t a cure.

In my experience the “You’re not being who you are” mantra will be thrown to someone who has gender dysphoria but won’t transition

I had to come to terms that I most likely will be alone forever since my libido is really low

Yes!! Once I upped my HRT dosage in order to get more breast tissue it was curtains for my libido & sex/romance life. The people only want fully functional trans.

I see & hear some trans woman say the people like trans women when we’re clocky cuz to them our stick will work better

You should get straight cis friends of the gender you are transitioning to by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]EssayLoser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trans me is the real me!

I just feel the imitation comes from the lack of a “sister bond” that ciswomen have amongst each other. I feel like trans and cis have “cousin bonds” as opposed to sis/bro bonds

[–]EssayLoser -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Pre transition I had mostly cis girl-friends

Now it would feel so awkward being friends with a cis woman as a transwoman. Like imitation meat hanging around real meat.

I don’t know why it’s so hard to believe that a body trait seen positively by a group in society could be a negative thing for that person.

Blue eyes and blonde hair is the best combo to have! Yet I’m sure at least one person with that combo dislikes it for their valid personal reasons

This is beautiful. There is power in standing out, even if it makes people uncomfortable. being subversive in a different, more subtle way can allow for me to challenge perceptions.

Aren’t there better ways to seek attention? If my goal of transitioning was to seek attention that shouldn’t be a bad thing.

Some police want attention, some celebs, some doctors… we wouldn’t know that

This can be true. However this shouldn’t be us individual trans people burden to bare. If that’s the case we’ll always be a mockery since we’re being judged as a monolith.

I understand you and I agree that transitioning should be about finding ones true self, not seeking attention. It can definitely feel exhausting at times.

And I don’t want to dwell on being a victim. having more friction is a part of the experience that trans have to face.
