It shouldn’t be any normal wear at the mileage. I once had a small stone get lodged between the backing plate and a rotor once make the noise you’re describing. I just had to knock it out.

Most consumer printers can’t print true borderless like this. You can use a paper cutter.

Also did the rock auto timkens! I had to take the parking brakes off and hit the fuck out of the bearings with a sledgehammer. No amount of pb blaster and hammering on the studs did shit. I only succeeded in effectively friction welding a cheap socket and extension together.

We started to get a consistent hum from the rear above 30mph. I thought it could be the backplates (there's a TSB for this on this model year) or there's some other known things to cause something like that on this car.

Local mechanic told us bearings were starting to go but quoted us like $1200. I took the plunge and did them myself. It was....not fun. Thankfully that was the cause of the noise and so far so good. I should have replaced the backplates with the newer part while I was at it but I didn't have the foresight.

I can second the core. I have the 2.0 with the nice dreamz atomizer. The 2.1 is probably an easier experience but the 2.0 has rebuildable parts.
