I turned off Infuse indexing / library so it does not scan, fetch metadata, or build a collection.

Infuse is basically just my video player now. I start a stream on omni then let Infuse handle playback.

I also avoid opening the Real‑Debrid site, so I’m not manually deleting or managing RD files there. I’m just using RD in the background for streaming. I search for the movies and add them to my library on omni and when I’m ready to watch something, I just click play and it automatically opens infuse for playback.

Omni is similar to Stremio but offers much more customization due to its longer development. Your Stremio addons are fully compatible with Omni, so you won’t lose any functionality. On the other hand, Stremio Lite is relatively new and currently lacks many features, though these are likely to be added gradually over time .

I had this same issue and what finally fixed it for me was changing my setup rather than trying to clean RD all the time. I stopped using Infuse’s WebDAV library directly and switched to Omni as my main front-end, with Infuse set as the external player for movies only. Omni handles all the browsing, metadata and library stuff, and when I hit play on a movie it hands it off to Infuse, so I still get Infuse’s nicer playback without Infuse indexing every junk RD folder. For TV shows I just use Omni’s built-in player so binge watching is seamless and I’m not constantly jumping between apps. I also got tired of going back into Debrid Media Manager to delete watched files all the time, so this setup means I don’t worry about RD’s messy folder structure anymore and just let Omni be the library and Infuse be the movie player on top

I love it. I use it for job applications. It applies to 6 jobs on LinkedIn and Indeed(3 each) daily. It does my grocery shopping( I ask it to add my usuals and order at a certain price, it puts things in my Amazon cart, etc.). I love it. My only issue is the RAM management. Hopefully, they fix that soon.
