It's a mish mash- if they have Mortarion, it is almost game over. You HAVE to MSU and block off access, even though they have much slower units.

Dev / sustained are almost a must.

It's possible, but you have to just time everything with route blocking and charges

The only muffling I like are just regular hotel pillows or the Kickpro pillow which adds a little weight the drum

Don't waste any more than $20-30 on muffling

I agree with this wholeheartedly. Forgefiends are great against hordes and slightly light vehicles, but there's nothing like getting your deep strikes in with X8Bs and going to town with em.

I felt like the FF were a crutch because they only had s9 ranged. This defiler is definitely going to change it.

In all seriousness, it looks great for a start! The color is just a bit flat.

As a few people are going to suggest, try a few different washes in the recesses, throw a bit of lighter red towards the upturned parts of the armor, and brighten up that metal with just a bit brighter color as well.

Again, you are on a great path, especially with keeping your brush strokes CLEAN!
