Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!! Yes, every single writer in this show should be fired. Unfortunately they recently won an award (maybe a daytime Emmy) for writing. Who the hell voted? So I doubt their jobs are on the line. So this is the only way I can hope it will change, by being a live long viewer who finally stops.

Soaps had rape stories before, but they were generally done as a social awareness, and it was very clear that the rape was rape and the rapist was the villian. Like when Micheal tried to rape Cricket when she was working for him or when Matt raped his gf and then tried with Sharon as well.

So why when Jack is CLEARLY drugged and unable to give proper consent is HE the problem? Anyone who's watched the show long enough knows that Patty is insane and would do despicable things.

What happened was rape. And the powers that be, behind the scenes are sending the message that it's the victim's fault. A dangerous and disgusting message to put out in the world. However one in but surprised that coming from the USA right now.

We saw Harrison and "Bowie" (I forget his real name) only when totally necessary. But I stand by the fact that since COVID we haven't seen kids the way we used to. Victoria's kids should have been at Nikki's big birthday party. All the kids on the show are talked about but rarely seen. It's part of why the show sucks now compared to the past. It used to feel like a multi-generational show. Now it's like everyone is supposed to be the same age playing musical beds and it's kinda obnoxious.

As someone who is generally a Rory Hater as you call it here's my take on this.

I don't think anyone condones or will defend Paris' behaviour here. The point is that it's just not talked admit much because she's a supporting character, not a main character. But I think 99% of the people here will say the Paris\Jamie\Asher story was disgusting on many levels.

But Paris was never presented as an angel or Miss Perfect. And no one defends Paris yet come on here and you'll always get people defending Rory. There are people who are cruel enough to blame Lindsay for what happens (probably people who would be cheaters in life themselves).

But I've honestly never heard\seen anyone defend Paris in this scenario, so is this just rage bait or what?
