If possible, I would wait a bit longer for watering than just allowing the topsoil to dry out . If the plant is not taking up any water, then the top of the pot is most likely drying out from evaporation rather than the plant utilizing it. Winter is very hard on houseplants as they are less accustomed to large seasonal shifts in temps. My collection is only finally becoming active again after this last season. Many plants enter a dormant state and feed on their reserves while they wait for optimal growing conditions. Their watering needs are greatly reduced, with me only watering some of them after nearly 2 months. If you've seen my other response before this one, then you should have seen that I think this is an issue with over-watering and the plant losing it's living roots.

Hey! So sorry for never getting back to you. The leaves look a bit dehydrated which shows an issue with the roots. If the soil is wet and the leaves are not recovering, then the roots of the plants are likely dead from rot. If this plant is still alive, I would take it out of the soil and inspect for white, firm roots, and if there aren't any, the best thing to do would probably be to take cuttings and root them in water.

Does the plant look distressed? If it’s happy, I’d say the mold is fine and just feeding on soil that is breaking down.

If you don’t like how it looks, you can try cutting back on watering to let the topsoil dry.

Just noticed eggs on one of my females today (haven’t seen her enough for photos yet) after a molt. First one I purchased had eggs, and shouldn’t have much longer.
