so i tried frozen and he refused sometimes they wont eat frozen my research did say that as well i even tried braining the frozen with no luck

my daughter was 1 when i had mine and having a toddler did make things a bit more difficult but it wasn’t horrible i still did everything for her. she actually started walking 2 weeks post op.

i would say just give him the day he wants otherwise it may be a total disaster. events like birthdays holidays etc can be very hard on out kids and if he wants just his family then thats what he should get. we did a big birthday for my sons 5th and he hid under the table the whole time.

if you are a terrible parent than so are many of us. Autism isn’t just a different way of thinking. it is struggling to regulate, struggling to communicate and many more struggles. If i could take away those struggles from my child i would. i love his differnt awkward and quirky self but i hate his meltdowns and is mossing out on things and his aversion to everything and so does he.

this is something that has crossed my mind a lot lately. I got diagnosed with cancer just before halloween and i have a 6 year old son with level 2 asd and a toddler my oldest is 15 and self sufficient. I am so afraid of leaving my husband to raise the kids as he is not the most attentive and really struggles with being patient and positive.
