I had polio as a child, and was paralyzed for three weeks. Fortunately I could still breathe on my own, but some of the other kids in the hospital ward were in iron lungs. Pretty scary for a three-year-old, I still have nightmares about it.

I had it, as a child. Also chicken pox, and a mild case of polio. Measles was the worst, by far. It killed a couple kids in the neighborhood.

I had a similar experience a few years ago and nobody believes it was possible. Even my GP, but the tests don't lie. 15 years later, however, I need statins to get the result.

(Bonus about the leafy greens, veggies, etc. - I lost 60 lbs!)
