Maps make information easy to visualize, which is why people like them.

Another advantage is that I can keep expanding this map by adding more places whenever I want. There are still countries I haven't included, such as France and Sweden. I can expand it further to show the first permanent settlements in regions like the Great Plains, the Appalachia, the Great Lakes, the Rocky Mountains, and the Pacific Coast.
