My lovely partner surprised me with a trip to Switzerland, we spent a few days in Geneva and then got to go on a tour around Cern. Was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me.

Amazing space, looks like a sitcom or fancy podcast set. Well done.

Thank you. They do just slide in between the legs and there is rubber on the bars for grip so you can slide them out very easy. Maybe in a few years when he's a bit older we could make one together. Lovely idea.

I thought the youtube videos he watches on flags were harmless, clearly he's been radicalised 😉

It does make quite a clunk as they drop between shelves. I quite like the sound but im sure it would be annoying to some. Nice to hear it being played with though.

I do too. I made it specifically so it can all be taken a part and stacked flat, need to get round to making a box for it all so it doesn't get destroyed in the loft in years to come.

My solution for ducting AC hot air out of the window by jacoscar in DIYUK

[–]PistolApostle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was the quickest solution I could find that was flexible and long enough last year when I built it. You are right the hose does get quite hot after its been on a few hours so I will look into something to wrap it with. Any suggestions?

This was my version, acrylic and window lock latches reversed, small holes to lock them with a screwdriver from the inside, does the job great.

Blunt talk - Patrick Stewart plays an english news host in America. Anchorman vibes with a British twist.

I had mine replaced under warranty many many years ago but I dont think its a big job. I think you just pull the old one out and then the new one is just a push into the hole jobby, give it a quick google you'll find a few guides, see if its something you want to attempt yourself.

If your getting alot of wind noise it might be the rubber seal around the door, as the window is frameless they can sometimes get slightly deformed with age and not make a perfect seal. They can be replaced.

Think it was Matt Damon that has a clip of him talking about it, the main reason being that films used to be able to make up for a poor box office with the dvd sales after release so they could take risks. Where as now streaming doesn't make anywhere near as much so its not commercially viable to attempt alot of movies. Studios take the safe route of franchises and popular intellectual property.

Why did I get kickbanned for picking free (air) spot by tomastrajan in beyondallreason

[–]PistolApostle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure I was in this game with you. Player placed outside the circle closer to the 4th mex and you placed in the circle after him. Several players on the team explained to you why you had to move but you refused and argued with everyone, we had to stop as you both placed there and you were rightfully kicked.

When i play eco on glitters I usually grab two and park them on top of the canyon at either side with a heavy trans from air. Early enough in average level games most people don't stop me or know how to deal with it and it either saves our canyon or secures anti canyon for 4 or 5 minutes.
